Hello everyone, I'm Nosipho, a Reformed lady from South Africa. 22 years old of age and was saved at the age of 16. My journey has been up and down but Jesus hasn't let me go, still holding me fast, and I'm grateful. I'm the only Christian in my family, meaning I grew up in a non Christian family and community but a teacher shared the gospel with me.

Have recently finished my degree this year in Industrial Biotechnology and currently working as an Imtern Quality control and Quality Assurance.

Will leave this here for now, looking forward to chatting with sisters and brothers in Christ 😊

Hello Nosipho. glad to have you here. Being the only Christian in a family can be hard, so I can fully understand ups and downs.

It is also good to hear that you graduated and found a job so quickly. I hope this means that life is treating you well, outside of any family issues.

It is good that you were able to put your degree to good use. In my career job I was in Quality Assurance too. Bit of a stressful job but at the same time very satisfying. Looking forward to getting to know you through your posts. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Hello there, I'm sorry if I responded late, I am not familiar with the app or site. But yes, God has been super gracious to me. I am short of words to describe my gratefulness, like how can God be so faithful to His so unfaithful servant 😢💔 I'm so grateful for Jesus 😩🙌.

I hope you're well?

It is very stressful, I have cried at leatt 3 times 😂 I just go to the bathroom and cry and pray and go back to work. But I'm glad my boss is very patient with me. And just trying to make me the best version of myself should I continue with QC/QA career.

Thank you for this and I'm looking forward to getting to know you as well sis🥳🤗

Wait, what do you do now? Cause I think i want to be more into like chemistry or medical instead of QC/QA, like maybe do Formulation Chemistry or make vaccines (not sure if my degree allows me to though, still have to research?

Much to the dismay of some I am doing well and still asking unsettling questions.

I am 71 years old and currently semi-retired, work 4 days a week. Whatever you decide career wise you are already well on your way.

I worked in a major manufacturing facility, one of my duties in QA was incoming inspection of materials. It was my job to determine if the material was in spec and if not, initiate a sort or determine whether the material could be used as is. Thousands of dollars rested on the decisions and determinations that I made.

Yes, extremely stressful but I seemed to thrive in that type of environment. I also monitored production processes, conducted studies, and submitted recommendations for improvement. The goal was to reduce scrap and rework, and reduce cycle time of various production operations.

Working in QA can be stressful. When I have had to do it, I just blame my SIL's grandfather. He was a huge name in establishing the field. Fortunately, now I am semi-retired and can usually actively avoid excessive stress when I work.

Hi Nosipho glad you are joining us, welcome to the CC fellowship! I hope you find happiness at your job and if not ask the Lord to open up another opportunity. You don't want to proceed with something streesful to you so as you said maybe another job along the field you studied for. God's there to bless our desires Mk 11:24. Have a wonderful New Year, God bless you and your endeavors✨🙏

Revelation 21:1-8
New International Version

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
