The nature of sin is spiritual, not natural. Lust in the heart is the spiritual seed of sin, not anything natural, whether dust, seed, flesh, blood, or bone. It's the spirit and soul that sins against God, and spiritually dies by sin.

Ezek 18:4
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Only spiritual beings can sin against God, not the natural things of the earth.

Isa 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:

And so we see that all sin is spiritual in nature, having begun in heaven with the spirits of angels. And likewise, men and women on earth can also sin against God. Not because of natural flesh and blood, but only because of being created like the angels, with spiritual power to conceive our own lust against God:

Mat 15:18
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Jas 1:14
Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

And so we see that the the nature of all sin is spiritual from the heart, not natural from the flesh.

And, While all angels and men are created with spiritual power to corrupt our own hearts with lust to sin, no angel nor man is created by God with the sin of lust:

Eze 28:15
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee...Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:

Jhn 1:2
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

We are all first created by Christ with the pure heart of the Spirit, but with power to corrupt our heart to lust against the Spirit.

And, Though unlike the angels in heaven, men and women are created with the same natural bodies of all creatures created by God on earth:

Heb 1:7
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Psa 8:4
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Only the spiritual heart of angels and men have the power to lust and sin against God. The natural seed has no lust in it to sin. The natural tongue has no lust in it to sin. The third middle finger has no lust in it to sin.

Jas 4:5
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

Only the spirit and soul of man is guilty of sinning with the natural body, not the body guilty of sinning against the soul.

Rev 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

No creature of God is created by Christ with lust to sin. No angel in heaven, nor man nor natural body on earth, is made by Christ with the sin nature of lust.

Gen 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Jhn 1:2
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

2Co 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,

Being born again in Christ is being created once again a new creature, even as all men and women are created in the beginning and born into the world: In God's own good image, and lightened by Christ's own true light.

However, even as Lucifer and the angels that sinned, all men after coming into the world, have sinned in the flesh by our own heart's conceived lust.

Eze 28:15
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee...Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:

And so all men must first have our own lust taken away from the spirit and heart, to be saved from sinning with the body:

Jhn 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Mat 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Jesus Christ takes away the sin of lust from the heart, that the newborn babe in Christ, can again do good with a pure heart, even as first created:

1 Peter{1:22}
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

2Ti 2:22
But follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Eph 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

In that God has before ordained, He ordained from the foundation of the world, not after. And so at the beginning of creation, God has created in His own image all men and women His workmanship. In the beginning men and women were ordained by God to walk in good works, and not do evil.

Being born again with knowledge of past lust and sin, with the spiritual death and corruption thereof, we can now by the faith of Jesus Christ do as God creates all men and women on earth to do: The good and not the evil.

1Pe 3:11
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

We have the power and knowledge of Jesus' own resurrection to not conceive lust as before, but rather to keep our hearts and conscience pure from lust, and our bodies from sinning and trespassing against God and His righteous Word Jesus Christ.

Pro 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Gen 2:5
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,

The physical sciences show what Scripture says from the beginning, that natural flesh and blood has only the natural seed and substance of dust. There is no sin in any natural thing, even as dust cannot lust against God and nature.

Gen 2:5
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Not until God breathes His life into the formed natural body, does man and woman become a living soul, only by which spiritual nature of Christ, we are separated from all natural animals of the earth:

Psa 139:14
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psa 139:15
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Jhn 1:2
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

And so we see, that neither the natural body made by Christ, nor the living soul dwelling in the body, are created by God with any sin in the flesh, nor lust in the heart.

Gen 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The utter separation between men and women, and the natural beasts of the field, is not the same natural bodies (being only different in form), but only by our spiritual souls. All naturally made creatures on earth are made by Christ of the same natural substance of the earth. But only man and woman is created with a living soul and spiritual light of Christ to acknowledge and worship the Creator.

However, being made with such spiritual power of the heart, unlike the natural beasts of the field, men and women can rebel against the divine nature of God's image, and willfully conceive our own lust to rise up against our own good Creator.

Eze 28:15
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee...Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:

Jas 1:14
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

It's only we, not the animals, that do evil with our bodies, not our bodies do evil with us. There is no evil in any natural body made by Christ on earth.

Jesus Christ is the only Creator and Author of good, not of any evil thing, whether in the hearts of angels and men, or the natural bodies of man and beast.

Rev 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Ezekiel 36:26 ask Father in risen Son for you, for the new Heart and be new and see new, being taught new daily to not harm, condemn, misuse, abuse, or excuse anyone anymore, thank you Father
Romans 8:1-3

The nature of sin is spiritual, not natural. Lust in the heart is the spiritual seed of sin, not anything natural, whether dust, seed, flesh, blood, or bone. It's the spirit and soul that sins against God, and spiritually dies by sin

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

The nature of sin is natural for all sin resides in the flesh.

And all sin is motivated by the flesh.

Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

All spirits go back to God who gave them regardless of how the person behaved on earth.

No person will retain their spirit in the afterlife.

But the spirits will not be separate entities when they return to God.

So the spirit is our connection to God.

And the spirit cannot be tainted with sin for if it were it would not go back to God.

The spirits that will not be entities when they return to God but a creation will have an end but not because of sin.

But because they serve no more purpose anymore.

Many people have put forth ideas of a biological component of original sin or our sin nature because Jesus did not have a biological father and he was sinless.

I think that a soul that is born without a connection to God by default seeks after itself.

Sin is entirely rooted in the longings of the soul and flesh.
It's called lust of the heart. The soul lusts for the flesh, not the flesh against the soul. All the flesh longs for is natural food, drink, work, rest, and sleep.

Jas 4:5
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

The body only obeys the spirit whether to do good or evil.

The natural seed has no lust in it to sin. The natural tongue has no lust in it to sin. The third middle finger has no lust in it to sin.

Where do you get these ideas (because it’s certainly not from the Bible)?

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

While I rarely have anyone respond specifically to the Scriptures and arguments I give, I still appreciate if they at least off alternative Scriptures to look at. Thanks

While it's true some Scriptures can appear to confirm certain previous beliefs, however we must always interpret any Scripture by confirmed teaching of Scripture. All Scripture internets every Scripture.

I've given the Scriptures, that prove Christ does not make anything sinfully, including natural flesh on earth. Therefore, Rom 7:18 cannot be saying that the flesh has evil in it. No does the Scripture say that. It only says that there's no good thing in the flesh.

There being no good thing in itself, doesn't necessarily mean there is an evil thing.

Rather, this Scripture is simply saying the natural body does provide any help in itself to do good. There's no good thing in a cart itself, but if we want to move it, we must push or pull the cart. The same with doing good or evil, we must must the body by a good or evil will and spirit.

If we find our will is not presently strong in us, then how can we possibly perform it with a body, that has no good will of it's own.

Mat 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The flesh is weak, not evil. The flesh is just flesh, as the dust of the earth, and has no good will of it's own.

It's therefore the will that is lacking in spirit, not the natural body. Only immature children try to blame the body as being the evil one, for not doing good when we supposedly would. The body can only obey the will of the spirit, not do the work without the spirit.

Jas 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith (and will) without works is dead also.

Paul is only confirming James 2, that if our will (that is, out faith,) fails, then the body has no good will of it's own to help us. I.e. don't look to our natural bodies to do the good we know to do. It's the soul of the person, not the body, that is responsible for doing good or evil:

Jas 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Paul is confirming known truth of Scripture, that it's only our soul that sins with the body, not the body with the soul. It's our own spiritual blame, not the body's fault for not doing the good we know to do.

Rom 7:24
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord

It's our will and faith that's dead, when not doing what we would, obviously not the body that's still naturally alive. Therefore, our help from the Lord is with His will and faith given to us, rather than our own failed faith alone:

Heb 2:17
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

If it were the body's fault in this life for not doing good, then the Lord would have to help by making us another body with good will in it. First, He does not make us a body with evil in it, and also with no will in itself to do good.

That will not be until the reward of resurrection unto life, for those whose will and faith is of God, not of sin and shame. Only then will the faithful and obedient in Christ Jesus, receive a glorious immortal body as His, that is moved by the eternal Spirit, no more by only natural flesh and blood.

As I said, I've given the Scriptures proving otherwise, if you want to address them and show any error in the arguments, I'd be glad to look at it.

Otherwise, Christ is not the God and Author of sin, and makes nothing with lust to sin, including natural flesh made of dust.

The natural seed has no lust in it to sin. The natural tongue has no lust in it to sin. The third middle finger has no lust in it to sin.

Blaming our body for us doing evil, is not only childish, but also an offensive insult to intelligence in any court of law. We might as blame the dust for evil on earth. Or, the grass for lighting it on fire.

Isa 40:6
The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass,

And all sin is motivated by the flesh.

Sin with the flesh is by lust for the flesh. And not all sin is for the flesh, since some sin is against our own bodies:

1Co 6:18
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Exactly. The body is just dust returning to dust. Perfectly natural, neither good nor evil, nor spiritual at all.

It's the spirit of man that wills to do good or evil with the body, not the body willing the spirit to do good or evil.

The natural theology of the man being a natural body is false. The soul owns the body, not the body the soul. The person owns the gun, not the gun the person.

All spirits go back to God who gave them regardless of how the person behaved on earth.

True. Some will be judged by their works for God, or some for evil.

2Co 5:9
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

No person will retain their spirit in the afterlife. But the spirits will not be separate entities when they return to God.

Now you appear to be off on some kind of universal oneness of the 'Cosmic spirit'.

2Co 5:6
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

So the spirit is our connection to God. And the spirit cannot be tainted with sin for if it were it would not go back to God.

Right. The 'Cosmic Christ'. And also New Age.

We're all just spirits of God on earth, and all returning to God in heaven. Judgment of works is only for the bad bodies God gave us:

Jas 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

As I said, it's the childishness and spiritual hypocrisy of blaming God for evil doing, as though Christ makes our natural bodies with evil in then.

"It's not my fault God made me this way..."

Do you go to the Bible simply to look for certain parts that appear to justify 'spiritual oneness' of all things, and enlightened 'human goodness'?

Creation will have an end but not because of sin. But because they serve no more purpose anymore

.
Now this is absolutely correct for all natural things, that have no good nor evil in them. When God is finished with this heaven and earth, He will do away with it and make a new eternal heaven and earth.

Heb 1:10
And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

However, it does contradict your own natural theology, that the created natural body is the one having evil in it, and so doing the evil. That would mean the natural body dies because of lust and sinning.

Which in itself is also a false ideology of certain Christians, that want to blame the body for being made with a 'sin nature' in it.

The Scriptures and arguments I've given disprove that self-justifying nonsense. It's the eternal spirits and hearts of angels and people, that corrupt themselves with lust, and so do evil with their bodies, that are all naturally well made Christ.

Many people have put forth ideas of a biological component of original sin or our sin nature because Jesus did not have a biological father and he was sinless.

Interesting. And yet, Jesus was born of a mother, who had the same natural seed of all men in her own flesh and womb; From which the Holy Ghost made the body for the Word to come and dwell in:

Heb 10:5
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

2Ti 2:8
Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

Romans{1:3}
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

Heb 2:16
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren.

Luk 2:21
And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

And so, we see that though the body of Jesus was made of a virgin without a father's intercourse, Jesus' natural body was conceived of the same natural seed of man in her flesh by the Holy Ghost.

Isa 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

The virgin birth was a miraculous sign of the coming Messiah in natural flesh of man. It was not a racial eugenics engineered by the Holy Ghost, so that a Messiah comes in the unnatural flesh of a superman...

Jesus' soul was sinless, the same as the Word in the beginning with God; His body was natural, the same as Adam's in the beginning made by Christ.

Adam's same natural seed that He was made with in the beginning, was just as naturally good for producing male and female offspring. Whose natural seed was inherited by all men born of a woman, including Jesus Christ born of Mary of the line of David and Abraham and Noah and Enoch and Seth and Adam.

I think that a soul that is born without a connection to God by default seeks after itself.

Creation without God?

If any soul or creature in heaven and earth is made without God, then who is their Creator and Maker?

Jhn 1:2
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh.

Rev 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

This is how the lie of being born with a 'sin nature' apart from God, becomes an accusation against Christ, as being the Maker of sin and sinful creatures.

If not that lie, than the lie that without God, it's now Lucifer who is become a creator and maker of people in his own devilish image:

Isa 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

People do not become sinners by natural birth, any more than Jesus was a born sinner by the seed of Adam in Mary. People become children of the devil by sinning like the devil.

1Jo 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

Jas 1:14
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Sinning against god is by the wicked spiritual seed of lust from Lucifer, not by natural seed of man from Adam.

All men and women have sinned with the devil, by conceiving their own lust of heart after coming into the world. Lucifer does not now create souls with bodies made by him to sin. Men and women make themselves spiritual offspring of the devil by committing their own sin like him.

The god of this world no doubt loves hearing from man created in God's image, that because of his sin against God, man is now created in the devil's own image.

Where do you get these ideas (because it’s certainly not from the Bible)?
Where do you get the idea that the many Scriptures quoted, are not from the Bible? Because it's certainly not from reading the Bible.

Many people expose their own fault for not teaching from the Bible, by finding fault with teaching quoted from the Bible.

And so, we see that though the body of Jesus was made of a virgin without a father's intercourse, Jesus' natural body was conceived of the same natural seed of man in her flesh by the Holy Ghost.
The “seed” is passed from the father. It doesn’t come from the mother. Jesus without a biological father did not have the same seed as others.

Also fun fact not only was it a miracle for Him to be born of a virgin but the biological father also along with the seed passes on the “y” chromosome that determines one to be male. Another miracle that you don’t hear much.

If any soul or creature in heaven and earth is made without God, then who is their Creator and Maker?

If God created self-replicating creatures, each replication can still be called created by God. However, with no direct spiritual or soul connection to God, each creature will go it's own way. That some of us seek truth and find it with God is a gift of the grace of God that we can make that connection and thus have eternal life.

As I said, I've given the Scriptures proving otherwise, if you want to address them and show any error in the arguments, I'd be glad to look at it.

Sadly, having had a good many exchanges with you some time back, I hold no hope that would make any difference. :cautious:

Jas 4:5
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

The body only obeys the spirit whether to do good or evil.

You have badly misunderstood what is being said in that verse. Our spirits are what is renewed by the Holy Spirit. To say the body only obeys the spirit...your words...is to turn the entire meaning of that verse on its head. In simpler terms, you have it backwards.

One who believes himself to be perfect will also believe his misinterpretation to be perfect and never admit he is wrong. This is the whole issue with the 19th century holiness movement. One who claims perfection puts himself on the same level as God which is also what satan attempted. Didn’t work out good for him.

Matt 19:17
“And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only ONE who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.””

The Sin Nature is spiritual lust, not flesh and blood.

So called "sin nature" are the bad habits people learn, take up, and accept after they are born in to this world full of darkness and sin as they start flowing with the world.

Sin nature is not something people are born with since we know God did not put sin in every little baby as they were created. We all sinned our own sins after being born and those are the sins we are held accountable for, not the sins of Adam

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

It's always funny to hear from those who have been falsely taught that they were born sinners as they use this as an excuse to continue living in sin believing there's no way to stop sinning. They'll even tell you they are sinners!

They don't understand the new birth or how to walk after the Spirit rather then walking after the flesh as they all believe they are like the guy described in Romans 7 who is not a born again believer.

1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not

1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

Sadly these people refuse put off the old man and instead put on the new man in obedience to the Lord's instructions in Ephesians 4:22-24

Ephesians 4:22-24
put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Instead these "sinners" reject the new birth and choose to identify with the old man.

Those doing such won't be found in the Lord's Kingdom so thankfully we won't have to put up with their carnal minded religious foolishness for long.
