What you fail to understand is that Jesus did not always speak in parables. To the general public audience, yes, He did, and said so. To His disciples, He spoke plainly, as it is written. Mix them up and you are left with Scripture that is meaningless.
To assume all Scripture is parables is to think you are smarter than all the Bible scholars who have actually studied Scripture. You think the “revelation” you supposedly have from God puts your individual view above 2,000 years of interpretation.
You are acting with arrogance, stubbornness, and self-righteousness.
The recognition to Jesus must be a revelation from God the Father.
And it requires a humbleness so that God the Father will reveal who Jesus is.
The recognition of the Disciples of Christ was revealed by God the Father.
The demonstration of God in all of this is in Matthew 16:15-17
With that, the Disciples were able to communicate with Jesus.
That is why most of the time we can read in the words of God, the Disciples ask and Jesus answer them like what happened in Matthew 13:10-12.
Since Jesus is still with us in our generation today. He is the words of God that we read.
REVELATION 19:13
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and
his name is called The Word of God.
He is the holy bible that we carry.
HEBREWS 10:7
7 Then said I, Lo,
I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Therefore the chosen of God in our generation could talk to Jesus the way the Disciples talk to him.
And Jesus will answer in his way through his words.
Because your recognition to Jesus is just after what a man understanding in the words of God including your own understanding in the words of God and you believe them.
If you lived in the New Testament, you were one of the Scribes & Pharisees. Once the Lord Jesus speaks they use their own intellect to understand the words coming from the mouth of Jesus.
JOHN 2:19-20
19 Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews,
Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But the Disciples of Jesus. When Jesus Speaks they ask.
MATTHEW 13:10-11
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him,
Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
In your case you never talk to Jesus as the Disciples did. Because your recognition to Jesus is not a revelation from the Father.
Upon reading in your bible that Jesus is speaking in parables in Mark 4:34. Then you use your own intellect to understand it.
That is why you come into conclusion that
What you fail to understand is that Jesus did not always speak in parables.
And so to believe Jesus that he is speaking in parables it is just a
acting with arrogance, stubbornness, and self-righteousness.
But in our case along with my brethren.
When we read Mark 4:34 we ask Jesus. With the same question as his disciples
Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
What about your words that very clear in our understanding? How they become parables?
And Jesus answered us through his words in the holy bible.
To Jesus, those arrogance, stubborn & self righteous are those who think for themselves that they are wisemen in the words of God. And so instead of asking Jesus in order to learn. What they do is they teach the people. They are positioning the role of God as Rabbi.
