It's not unpardonable so of course that person can still be saved. Paul vehemently opposed Christ before his conversion on the road to Damascus, so it seems to me that someone could still come to Jesus if they previously denied him, in fact I would say of course they could.

Jesus bore our sins on the cross and that would include someone's sin of denying him, that is the whole purpose of why he came, to bear our sins so we wouldn't have to pay the penalty for them. Jesus came for those who would deny him too. I would say it changes nothing about whether someone can be saved.

Hello and welcome to CC,

Your phrase, "and then Christ denies him" would only occur at the final judgment, after which there is no further opportunity to repent. Anyone who is still alive on this planet still has that opportunity. Jesus hasn't denied your brother, though He may have denied particular requests.

It would be helpful if you would post the Scripture you have in mind,
but Heb. 6:4-6 indicates that a believer who commits apostasy will never again repent.

I think Jesus won't deny the person right away just because the person denies Him at first. God has the ability to look at a person's life from start to finish and would know if the person accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior even if they denied Him before. Think of Peter who denied Jesus THREE times.

I will continue. I think I might have stopped there for a second when he told me eff Jesus and God but I will do;tinge, even though it’s tough.

Could you elaborate a bit on how this someone you speak of would know whether or not Christ denied them?

Every time we sin willfully, we deny Christ to some degree. Some folks, unfortunately, may fall into terrible sin at different times in their walk with Christ. And I believe, that of those who actually know Christ, or rather, are known by Christ, He will restore in His perfect timing.

Christ is fully committed to seeing His children all the way through to the end of their Christian journey. He ever liveth to make intercession on our behalf. Its called Good News for a reason.

The Greek word in Hebrews 6:4 translated "impossible" could also mean "very difficult." So while it may be difficult to steer such a person back to repentance, it's not impossible; especially with God's help.

In the Bible, I believe it says that if you deny Christ, then he will deny you.

I think I’m talking about those before they are actually saved, not ones who are born again.

Sorry that I am unable to go deeper on this topic, as my question was already answered and I already mentally checked out on this thread.

Thanks @ResidentAlien for sharing that. I’m not sure if I am fully capable but I definitely try my best to be a good witness to him.
I just pray that other Christians out in the world will chime in and kinda lead him the rest of the way, after the seeds I planted.
Then again, there are those verses about if the seeds were planted in good soil, and I’m not a hundred percent positive on that.
