First it's not argumentative. I asked you a question.
What question did I fail to answer?
No you're deciding for God what is only his to decide. God will decide if you are saved not you. You think you're saved, you believe you're saved,nyou hope you're saved but only God knows with 100% assurance if you are saved or not. You telling me you are is meaningless
What I love about you people is you assume everything you believe and tell other people is authoritative without any evidence other than you believe it. You ask questions or other but you never think the questions could apply to you.
Thats what catholics teach.
The truth about the devide from the Catholic church, when the reformation begun, was all about How we can know we have grace, by understanding the corrupt nature of human will, we could fully understand his grace, and know that we can have full assurance where saved by his grace, by understanding our will and God's will for us,
Your church was against this idea, and one of reasons for that what they believed only there great saints could have full assurance of having 100 percent assurance.
Well understanding faith is known aware through inner conscience is key importance to using apologetics to teach assurance you can have full assurance your walking with God. By reaching the truth about the condition of human will.
That's what Augustine Martyn Luther John Calvin was all about and all other good teachers of the reformed faith, to help believe they don't have to suffer not knowing they can have full assurance

Which when a person doesn't want to know something they could be ingrained with a personal bias from somebody else.
Now you could say the same about rc Sproul but when you examine his nature, you can see he's kind and sharing and patient , and you can have full assurance he's displaying fruits.

The pastor your talking about was a minister with a degree in theology and philosophy, how many pastors can say say that.
For what must be the 1000th time you need to show evidence that anything you believe or says is authoritative. I'm not sure what you dint understand. Why should I listen to you if you can't show that what you're saying is authoritative? You claim I don't want to know but that's about as weak an intellectual argument as I ever heard. If on the other hand you could admit this is all your opinion then we have no problem but your pride wont let you will it?

So im believing only my belief is true, without even wanting to know the truth,
I would be being ignorant, but not on the bases I am ignorant but that what I believe to be true is true, so when I'm told to look at the evidence first I then should stop in my ignorance and look at it.

What I need to know is what would compel me to listen to you? I'm not opposed to learning I'm opposed to being taught by someone who can't prove they are in a position to teach me.

When somebody is of there own personal bias you will always hear them tell you what they know.

There has been tons and tons of quotes in the sermons provided from people who are in a position to teach, and then teach about the position of his word.

you where asked, must somebody who naturally does the will of God need to be reassured more than a thousand times they are doing the will of God.
Is that a guarantee they will always do the will of God? You make a ton of assumptions and then exhort them as authoritative truths. The fact you can't see that is mind numbing to me.
well a person needs assurance to know that there calling is true.
His word says so and commands that you diligently seek his word to know your calling is sure. So you should find out if your numbered amongst the elect.
Basically that is for all people to know.
Once you know you can then fully believe his word that says, never will God leave you or forsake you, or never will the lord lose one of his own.

Not the case at all. I'm absolutely certain Jesus is my savior and I'm absolutely certain I must do my his will but what I'm not certain of is my ability to do that perfectly until i die which is why I work out my salvation with fear and trembling.

I know I can be saved though his word what you haven't shown is that your understanding of his word is authoritative other than you say so. Again I'm not sure why this is such a problem for you. You refuse to acknowledge this which only makes me less and less likely.to listen you. Your pride is too big for me.

RC Sproul teaches you are to work out your salvation in fear and trembling, by going to his word you can find assurance your fear and trembling is further assurance you have love for his word, and christ
