Johnny Johnson (Missouri, executed August 2, 2023) - Convicted of the 2002 abduction and killing of 6-year-old Cassandra Williamson, whom he lured to an abandoned factory. Crime committed: 2002.
Duane Owen (Florida, executed June 15, 2023) - Convicted of the 1984 murders of Karen Slattery (a babysitter) and Georgianna Worden. Crime committed: 1984.
Ted Bundy - Executed January 24, 1989 (Florida, electric chair) Bundy kidnapped, raped, and murdered at least 30 young women between 1974 and 1978
AJCRanker. He confessed to 30 murders but was believed to have killed many more. He was executed for the murders of two Florida State University students and a 12-year-old girl.
John Wayne Gacy - Executed May 10, 1994 (Illinois, lethal injection) Gacy sexually assaulted and killed 33 young men between 1972 and 1978
AJC. Known as the "Killer Clown," he was famous for dressing as a clown for children's events. He buried most of his victims in the crawl space of his home.
Aileen Wuornos - Executed October 9, 2002 (Florida, lethal injection) Wuornos was arrested for killing seven men that she claimed had tried to rape her

Harvey Glatman - Executed September 18, 1959 (California, gas chamber) Glatman murdered three young women in Los Angeles

Please remember only 0.1% of all murders get the death penalty. 99.9% of them are not executed.
These cases show the typical pattern where executions usually occur decades after the original sentence, with people on death row taking 25 to 30 years to exhaust their appeals
As a Christian I support the gospel being preached to these ones and I support them confessing their sins, repenting and the blood of Jesus cleansing them from all sins. But there is nothing in the New Testament that would tell us to go against the laws of the nation we are in based on what the people of that nation want as long as those laws do not violate God's righteous laws, and according to God righteousness is "as you have done it will be done to you". Executing a heinous murderer does not violate God's righteous laws.
Our status as Christians is as ambassadors.
