The Holy Spirit will be leading the good teachers.
Leading them to teach what it is you do not even know you do not know.

That's funny (not in a good way) to think God's promises of knowing the mind of Christ is only true for "teachers"

You think God is withholding revelation knowledge from His Children and only those called to full time ministry as a Pastor that teaches can have access to revelation knowledge? That's sad for you.

1 Corinthians 2:16 tells us that believers have access to the thoughts and understanding of Christ through the Holy Spirit, enabling them to comprehend spiritual truths and emphasizes the truth that Christians can think in alignment with Christ's perspective.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Reckon Jesus actually honors His Word???

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Reckon Jesus was joking around when He said this?

Matthew 24:5
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(includes those claiming they are anointed to speak for GGod which is what teachers claim)

2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying (contradicting, Not agreeing with) the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness (idolatry) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

Jude 1:4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (no self control, living after the flesh), and denying (contradicting, opposing Jesus’ teachings) the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (referring to false teachers and false brethren - see Matthew 13:24-30)
(Deny = Strong's G0720… to contradict, disavow, reject, deny, refuse - and Strong's G4483… the idea of pouring forth, to utter, speak of or say, command)

The Lord is very well able to teach someone apart from belonging to a local congregation if a person lives in an area where all the churches are teaching false doctrine which is the situation where I live.

I've either visited or corresponded by email with moist all churches in my area and they are all teaching heresy

I didn't contact the catholics, the JWs, or the mormons because we know up front those churches are heretical

I've belonged to several churches over the years and they all have one thing in common which is: "We'll tell you what to believe and if you don't like it you need to leave our church"

Corruption is rampant in the churches now, so feel free to sit under false doctrine if you'd like.

I have better spiritual sense than to be deceived in to walking in darkness with the masses

I’m not saying not to read the Bible or study scripture. What I’m saying is don’t spend your life studying about something you were meant to act out. Take the time to go out and act out the love that He commands us to have for one another.

Every word spoken by the mouth of the Lord. Yes quoted from Deut 8:3. Not every word spoken by the mouth of Peter, Paul, Billy Graham, R.C. Sproul or any other. He will provide if you walk in His ways following His commandments. We can learn from all others but we have to make sure we aren’t following some Bible teacher instead of Christ.

So if you find a great teacher how will you know if he is great besides comparing him to what he is supposed to be teaching you. The ones that qualify for you won’t qualify for another. We already have the Teacher living inside us and we have the same texts that all others have.

I’m just saying that spending your life studying and learning scripture isn’t what it’s about. The Lord doesn’t look at the brain, He looks at the heart. It doesn’t matter how much scripture you can cite nor if you are fluent in Greek and Hebrew. There’s not gonna be a 20 page bible test to get in. None of it matters if you haven’t loved Him and loved your neighbor. Simple. No need to overanalyze it.

This is a very good point. There is no crowns in heaven for being able to quote lots of scripture. There is no crowns in heaven for keeping a clean house on earth (Lol).

But the Lord wants us to act out this love that He is trying to teach us. Did you learn to love? I'm working on it and enough that I am able to notice changes in me heart because I loved someone in Christ. It changes you acting it out. Part of the Transformation and renewal of the mind.

So have you sold off your house and assets and gave it all to the poor yet? Scripture says if you do, you will have treasure in heaven. I'm not that far yet!

I learn more on how to love everyday and I am miles ahead of where I was when I didn’t know Christ nor love. I’m still no where close to loving as He loves.

Haven’t given everything to the poor that’s for sure. Giving to the poor nowadays can be tricky. What is poor for starters? I guess it all depends on the society that they are in. A poor person in the states would be rich in other parts of the world. Another question is why are they poor? More than likely being poor isn’t their problem. Being poor is just a symptom of a problem. Drugs, gambling, irresponsible spending, criminal record, or pure laziness can often be the problem. So giving to the poor in those occasions would be giving them a job or rehab tuition. The best thing we can do no matter the situation is share Jesus with them and show them love. Talk to them and find the root problem. Giving them money is no different from the doctors these days handing out drugs to treat symptoms without fixing the cause of the symptoms.

You keep missing the point!

God uses good teachers, so you can learn and know the Mind of Christ.

Why did Paul tell his followers that they had the mind of Christ???
Because?
They were learning from Paul!

.........

One thing I wonder about how christian theology runs, is as follows - let me take an example :

Let's say that Adolf Hitler, just before he shot a bullet into his head, regretted all his actions and came to belief in Jesus. Now, will Mr Hitler go to heaven? And do you think that is fair?

Furtheron: An atheist jude, or on atheist left-winged, or an atheist whatever, is gassed to death in Hitlers gass chambers. This man was an atheist right into his death. Now, what happens to this poor guy after death? Will he go to hell? And do you think that is fair?

1 Cor 12:28
And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues.

It's interesting that believers will fight tooth and nail for all of these gifts.......EXCEPT for TEACHERS.

No need for teachers, we can wing it on our own.;)

Hitler could have done that.

It would be God's way of showing Satan, that Satan could have always returned if he had only repented.

That God is fair and just.

Paul had been murdering Christians and throwing others into jail.

Jesus died for all the sins of Hitler.

grace and peace ..........

First thing if Hitler accepted Jesus then he had obviously heard the gospel. No the rest would depend on if the Jew had also received the gospel.

Let’s look at the similarities between Hitler and the Jew. Both were sinners. Neither deserves eternity with the Father.

Now the difference between them is that only one in your scenario accepted the gift of salvation and gets to spend eternity with the Father.

Is it fair that both of them walked out on God and the only one that returned home was taken back in? I would say yes.

Proverbs 12:1 holds the key as to why that is so...

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid.

Now that we know what "stupid" means?
It is not the same thing as dumb.

'Dumb? '
Can not know... '

Stupid'?
Will not know.

The stupid, are anti-God's authority.
The dumb, God has mercy on.

In real life Jeffrey Dahmer got saved before a prison inmate killed him. So I definitely think he is with God now and that he is our brother in Christ.

Most of his victims were not saved unfortunately, do not know God and are not with Him after their deaths. That means they didn't take up Jesus ' offer of salvation.

I think all that is fair.

I think all that is fair.

Another thing: You quote Ephesians:
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

You attach an image of a woman carrying physical weapons.
I have to ask: Do you interprete your quote as referring to guns, swords and other physical weapons, or is this just a metaphore for spiritual weapons ?

So you think - according to my example - that it's fair that Hitler go to heaven while the atheist jude go to hell?

Yes, that's fair. God is giving everyone what they want. A person who gets saved wants to be with God. A person who doesn't want to be with God won't have to be with Him.

It's just that all the good stuff is with God, because He is the source of all those blessings. All the good things rejecters of God are enjoying now, they will no longer enjoy when God is no longer around them.

Yes it's spiritual

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Interesting.
So you think it's fair.
Hitler might go to heaven, while the poor atheist jude gassed to death in Hitler's gas chambers go to hell.

Next question has to be: What is hell? A place for eternal punishment? What do you think?
