The U.K. media is reporting that Mr Trump has told Europe , that it will all have to pay a 10 percent trade tariff on all goods until Denmark gives him Greenland . Is this true ? If it is true , what does the average American make of this demand ?

I really wish he would leave Greenland alone. If they want to do business with us then great, otherwise leave them alone.

I think he's made social media posts about it, I don't know how official it is at this point. People in the US overwhelmingly want him to forget about Greenland and worry about things here at home. He says it's necessary for national security, but that doesn't make any sense when you stop and think about. We'd be a lot more secure if he wasn't actively trying to put the kibosh on NATO.
And if he does actually impose those tariffs, you know who will have to pay them: American consumers.
Offer Trump a prenuptial agreement where they keep the mineral rights before the marriage and see if he agrees.
The best response EU advisors can say to their leaders in response to Trump is this: Mr. President, Joe Biden was a terrible President and you won 3 times already. Come have lunch with us so we can talk about how terrible Biden is ... and they play footage of Biden falling down or watch footage of someone else using his signature to do some dumb leftist stuff.

the US already has military bases in Greenland and Denmark has always fully supported any amount of military buildup the US wants to place there. trumps stated reasons are whole-cloth lies.
he is a megolomaniac with zero respect for law. he wants Venezuelas oil, Machados peace prize, Greenlands minerals, but overall he wants to rewrite history to remember him as some great emperor.
he's acting unilaterally, dementedly, and completely illegally, and is about to dissolve NATO. our congress needs to remove him, remove vance, and remove hesgeth.

A true and genuine friend, doesn't buy gas from Russia while asking their "friend" for protection from the state they're buying gas from.
