In all truth, the scripture is very difficult to understand.

Only for those that don't have the infilling of the Holy Spirit Who Jesus sent to teach us His Word.

1 Corinthians 2:16 tells us that believers have access to the thoughts and understanding of Christ through the Holy Spirit,
enabling them to comprehend spiritual truths and emphasizes the truth that Christians can think in alignment with Christ's
perspective.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no
man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are
freely given to us of God.

Those that believe these promises and ask the Lord to open the eyes of their understanding based on these promises as they choose to accept THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD then the Lord will start revealing Truth to them which will not be what the churches and popular teachers are teaching as they are corrupt and teach a different "jesus" and another "gospel"

Here's a prayer in scripture to pray over yourself and others:

Ephesians 1:16-19
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of
the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power

You don't need the scripture to be saved and on this point you are mistaken.

Without scripture, which is what God has to say as in scripture is God's Word, then you shall be deceived.

In fact, you have already been deceived by the devil because he has convinced you that it's OK to ignore God's Word as in ignoring what God has to say.

This is exactly what the devil did to deceive Adam and Eve is convinced them to ignore what God said.

The gospel of Jesus Christ can be transmitted by word of mouth which it was throughout
the New Testament.

Without God's Word the information being shared by word of mouth is easily corrupted as we see it has been when we compare what God teaches in His Word to what churches and popular teachers are teaching today which is lies of the devil masquerading as Truth but are actually deception.

So thank you for sharing that you have rejected God's Word.
Now we know how you have been so badly deceived.

After Christ returns there will no longer be 40,000 Churches - only ONE.
then you will learn Truth.

Yeah so right now there is only ONE Truth church and we can learn Truth (God's Word) right now.

The one true church is not any building but it a group of people scattered around the world that actually believe God's Word and their number are not very large at all. These are the folks that actually believe the whole counsel of God and they live as though God's Word is Truth.

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

Jesus said the pathway that leads to life is narrow and few find it - Matthew 7:13-14

So Why was the New Testament written? Why did Jesus Christ inspire the four Gospels ? why did John write Revelations?

He has no earthly idea.

He just said he does not believe God's Word

What covenant was made between God and man?

The New Covenant made between the Man Jesus Christ and God the Father.

It can never fail and salvation for us on earth can only be found by abiding In Christ.

Those that choose to not believe God's Word are not abiding In Christ as they have been deceived by the devil to not believe what God says just like Adam and Eve

Jesus is the Word.

The word was made flesh.

Yep, and if Jesus Christ appeared to somebody and they could ask anything they wanted - He would reply by quoting scripture.

Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

The works that please God are but a fruit of the faith given!

Yep and as we see in the Book of James - faith without works is dead and is not saving faith

Many today claim to be Christians but their actions show they are tares (children of the devil)

As I absolutely abhor all things catholic, what exactly am I quoting that is catholic lie?

That the 10 commandments are binding.

That is what the Catholics preach and the Catholics were around before the Reformers.

That is where the law was introduced into Christianity.

We are under grace and not under the law.

Do you understand the so called "born again" movement began in the 1960's it did not exist before the 60"s

That's a straight up lie from the pit of hell. Anybody believing this is deceived by demons and rejects Jesus Christ Who said:

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

So no thanks -- none for me please.

Then you will burn in hell. According to Jesus nobody can enter in to His Kingdom unless they are born again.

There is no salvation apart from being born again so one can enter His Kingdom

His Kingdom is:

Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Without being born again nobody has righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost disagree.gif

So of the 45,000 which one or ones will get a person into "heaven"?? is it 10? is it half?

That's being focused on what's going on in the world rather than being focused on what the Lord says.

All the different denominations is proof the devil is real and has deceived that many people in to NOT accepting what God says in His Word.

They teach the wisdom of the darkened mind of mankind as though it were the Wisdom of God, in other words they are teaching their own opinions instead of simply going by God's Word.

Christ promised eternal life, not heaven.

Heaven is where the Lord is.

Those that die in Christ right now go to be with the Lord in Heaven

When He returns there will be a 1000 year reign of Christ and after that God purifies the earth with fire (recreates the heavens and the earth) and then He moves Heaven to earth and the Lord will forever live with man

If there are scriptures explaining what there is to do in the third heaven I would love from someone to point them out.

Paul went to the third heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2 ) which is where Jesus is seated at right now at the right hand of the Father

The second heaven is space surrounding the earth, and the first heaven is the earth's

When one loves God by believing his words it's impossible to profane the sabbath

And the Lord's sabbath is no longer a one day event that happens on Saturday

You said earlier that "You don't need the scripture" so you wouldn't know what Truth is one way or the other.

You said earlier that "You don't need the scripture" so you wouldn't know what Truth is one way or the other.

A person can believe in Jesus Christ without any knowledge of the scripture.

That is the power of the the Holy Spirit.

Church history places the formal canon of the New Testament in the 4th century.

There were hundreds of letters to sift through to determine what was canon and what was not.

Most folk for the last 1800 years were never educated.

The public school system did not commence till late in history.

Even when you have been through a national school program, that does not mean
your reading and comprehension is sufficient. To read and understand the N.T.

The truth is HG; 99% of the Christian world are taught an interpretation of the scripture.

Most Christians would rarely read the scripture very often.

The summary gives us two that are actually more difficult. Loving is much more difficult that dos and don'ts. You like those because they are easier and you think you can follow them perfectly, but you can't even do that.
Facades are enough to procure affection, as a matter of fact. They, facade and affection, are synonymous. I could do without either of them myself. I'd rather have the real thing or none at all.

works are evidence of faith. read James again i can quote if you dont remember where to look.

Some of Paul's letters opposed the teaching that salvation could be EARNED by the performance of certain meritorious works of the LAW. This group consisted of Gentiles who had become convinced that, in addition to faith in Christ, These not only adopted Jewish religious practices but also sought to influence others to do so.

The Greek verb Ioudaizo ("to judaize") appears only once in the Septuagint ( Esther8:17 ) and once in the New Testament ( Gal 2:14 ). In the Septuagint this verb is used in relation to the Gentiles in Persia who adopted Jewish practices in order to avoid the consequences of Esther's decree ( Esther 8:13 ), which permitted Jews to avenge the wrongs committed against them. The Septuagint not only uses ioudaizo to translate the Hebrew mityahadim ("to become a Jew"), but adds that these Gentile converts were circumcised.

In Paul's letters, the term "Judaizers" referred to a group who advocated for the necessity of adhering to certain Jewish laws and customs, particularly circumcision, as a requirement for salvation. These requirements came from the customary laws pertaining to Gentile converts to Judaeism. However, the idea that believers had to obey the Mosaic practices in order to be "born again" was opposed by Paul and the Apostles as well as Jesus Himself who said He came to call SINNERS to REPENTANCE.

Which those who reject God's Word don't have and won't have as long as they reject God's Word.

John 16:13
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

*Jesus said He only does and speaks what He sees and hears from the Father (John 12:49, John 5:19, John 8:28, John 8:38)

Church history places the formal canon of the New Testament in the 4th century.

The smart ones go by what God says in His Word and pays no attention to all the false doctrine that has come forth from the devil thru the "churches" throughout "church history"

He came to call SINNERS to REPENTANCE.

Yes as in quit doing the works of the devil and start doing the works of God.

In other words quit walking after the flesh and instead start walking after the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Some today claim one can walk after the flesh and still be saved.

They are speaking in behalf of the devil.

Do you understand the so called "born again" movement began in the 1960's it did not exist before the 60"s

So it did not exist for over 1900 years --- and this came about due to the confusion caused by misunderstanding Paul.

So no thanks -- none for me please.
You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

1 Peter 1:23 "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."

Comment:

Rome did not introduce The Torah, Jesus Christ did, and He wrote the Commandments on the two stones. Rome has never ever obeyed the Torah or Jesus Christ.

forward, please, the scripture or scriptures which define the term "grace"

One thing that gives me pause, is found in the Book of Hebrews,

7: 1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works,
and of faith toward God,
2Of the doctrine of baptisms,
and of laying on of hands,
and of resurrection of the dead,
and of eternal judgment.

Funny the term "grace" which also means kindness is not listed as a foundational doctrine.

but repentance from dead works is listed.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

funny how they match some of the commandments and all can be summed up as lawlessness, from which we must repent and do no more.

also continuing on in Hebrews -- the writer states if those that were once given light,, (converted), fall away there is no repentance for them but they will be burned. if a person "willingly" returns to lawlessness i.e. not obeying the Law of God -- they are done!

So salvation is not once and done!

4 For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, spirit
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
"Good word of God" funny Paul is not mentioned, yes Paul's letters are now part of the Word which means Paul's words must match Jesus Christ.
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned.

I do not believe that any of my posts proclaimed that I am not improving, only that I am not perfect, nor will I ever reach perfection.
There are no Christians who purposely live in sin and there are no Christians who have totally overcome sin to the point of a sinless life.
Have you ever considered that even though we grow in grace, that God allows us to fail occasionally 1) to remind us of our constant need and 2) to glorify Himself as a Savior that is both just and forgiving?

You just like to argue and accuse people for no good reason whatsoever!

Why does Jesus say?

Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Is Jesus wrong to say this? How can He say this if He didn't think it was possible for you to obey this?

Your posts are good examples of falsely accusing when confronted so you wouldn't have to consider and learn anything.

The emphasis in your posts is always sin and how you can't escape it. You act like there is no solution to this. You act like God hasn't provided Himself as the power to overcome sins or that He doesn't have the power.

This only encourages Christians not to turn to God for help to overcome there sins, but to keep them weak in their sin, to give them an excuse as if they can't change and God can't help.

Do you not see that in your posts? If you really do submit to God to help you obey Him and know His power in your life to overcome sin, you wouldn't be talking the way you do in your posts, emphasizing no escape from sin. Rather, you would be excited and happy to tell people of the godly changes God is making in you and how powerful He is to overcome the sins in your life. You'd encourage people to submit to God. But your posts never reflect that.

born: #1080 gennaó: To beget, to give birth, to bring forth, to produce.
again: anóthen: from above, again, anew

What I am waiting for is the First Resurrection when I will be born from above into spirit
and into the same spirit as Jesus Christ.

at the 2nd resurrection 100 billion will be raised from death to flesh and blood, not born again or born from above.

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

when born from above I will have the same spirit body as Christ has now.
I know some on this site believe we will have flesh and bone bodies -- Flesh and bone is not invisible nor can it pass through stone walls and vanish in front of human eyes.

even Paul wants to be out of these vile bodies of death.

Ok so just ignore the details of what Paul said Rom13:9 and Jesus. Deut6:5 which was stated after the Ten Commandments was repeated 40 years after God wrote it down before crossing over into the promise land that sadly many never made it due to a harden heart and rebellion Eze20:13 Eze 20:15-16 what we are told not to follow Heb3:7-19 Heb4:11

If the summary was more difficult I am not sure why anyone would be arguing against the Ten Commandments, the details, which you claim is less difficult, despite Jesus magnifying it to include our thoughts that leads to breaking them and He telling us not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments Isa 42:21 Mat5:19-30 Heb8:10

That’s not a biblical response to the Scriptures. You don’t know me so let’s focus on Scriptures and not what we think we know or don’t know about strangers on the internet. Jesus said if you love Me, keep My commandments John14:15 the summary of love is not the details of how to love. God plainly wrote those out for us. How to love God - His name is in the commandments 1-4 Exo20:1-11 and how to love our neighbor the second greatest commandment summarized in the last six Rom 13:9 Exo20:11-17 Love to God and man is keeping God’s commandments 1John5:3 not just the ones we feel we should, God wants us to give Him our whole heart.

How about I ask you a few questions.

Here is the first.

How are you saved?
