That is the whole point.
Ironically, those who do not believe in free will, willfully defy what God's will is for their lives.
As we know...
You can not shame anyone into seeing Truth.
They will just cling to their old ways of bonding with others, while refusing to lose their way of life of old.
They are now bonding with each other over something that offended someone.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." Mat 16:25
Instead, they keep clinging to one another in their old ways of comforting one another, when it was God preparing believers to face the lions if need be.
We have to face the harsh realities and overcome them with the new life we have been offered.
Not resort to clinging to one another in our emotions. Then grace will must do its work to make us strong and peaceful
in spite of what may be presented to us.
Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s
sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10
For them... When they are being strong? They are remaining weak.
We know it hurts. But you got to get sound doctrine or remain standing upon your own strength.
