The candy has already been sitting on the shelves for 1 whole month. You should go ahead and have your valentines now, rather than waiting, because the longer you wait the older the candy will be. If you have your valentines early, you will have the candy at a fresher time.

It's the same thing with holloween, in fact, It's best to never have holloween because of how long the candy has sat there in the store.

good advice. in my area, the stores start putting out halloween candy out in late july-early august...
