Confusion about the watchers/Angels

Hello,

I was going through Genesis and got to when the nephilim were created. My question is how could an angel impregnate a human woman? Also, I understand I make an assumption saying the watchers were angels. I did hear a theory that the watchers were angels that possessed men who impregnated women. Again, this makes a lot of assumptions. Does anyone have a better understanding? Just seeking clarity if there is any. Thanks!

Greetings and welcome.

I don't really know how angels could have impregnated human women. I do believe there were giants at some point, very big giants. When you consider some of the megalithic structures found around the world, some made with blocks over 100,000 tons, I just can't see how normal human beings could've done it. Many of the large blocks were quarried miles from where they were used. And some projects look they were begun and then suddenly stopped; a global flood could account for this.
 
Correction: I typed "blocks over 100,000 tons" but I meant to say "blocks weighing thousands of tons."

If angels are spiritual with the ability to manifest physically, it may be that their physical manifestation is complete.

One should be careful about going too far with speculation.

IMO that's pagan mythology that got incorporated into bible tradition via Babylon

All I know is, somehow Nephilm happened, fallen angels had sex with women as they had children. Then God saved us by the flood, calling Noah righteous and his family. yet the Nephilm continued as read in Genesis 6 after the flood. Might be by the DNA in the wife's of the three Sons. Now after the flood, we are in the lineage of Seth only from that point forward. since all others are then drowned.
I believe, trust God, even when I do not understand it all. I do know God truthfully loves us all. Otherwise Son would not have gone to that cross at all. He would have fought with Peter and would not have had Peter put away his sword or restored Malchus's ear.

It has all happened as God has saw it would happen for God's righteous reason, Hebrews 4:9-13. I do know, without free choice to choose God, self or satan himself. God could not claim to love us in truth to me at least. If I have to, and am not free to choose then I would be a puppet, and I see I am not a puppet, only evil in any form wants puppets, thanks

Okay. Yes, Heiser does make reference to Psalm 82, but his work is based on multiple thousands of pages of scholarly research into ancient languages, Scripture, and history.
