Comment:

I have not found in the WORD, any are "Born from above" until the First Resurrection and into spirit bodies.

After repentance, baptism and receiving the Holy Spirit by the "Laying on of Hands", one is then a "spirit fetus" waiting to be born into the Family of God the Father.

It take most a life time for the Father to develop in them the Holy righteous Divine Nature of God, without which no one can be in the Father's family.

It is human nature to desire a "quick" and easy "FIX', say some words, click ones heels and it all done.

both the Old and the New Testament reveals it is by and through must tribulation that a person gains the gift of eternal life. AND it is the Few that enter in this age. the "many" will be given their opportunity at a later time.

Being freed from the compulsive force of our old nature is a degree of "freedom".

Being able to use freedom wisely may not be something fully achieved at salvation.

Yes I believe there is true freedom in Christ Jesus, what one does with that freedom depends on if they are being lead by the spirit or not

True freedom is offered to all. Only Father, Dad, PaPa, knows who is who. The last choice is all that is left after the cross. To believe God in risen Son or not. those that choose God in risen Son, Father seals these each ro see truth over error, here on earth still here today\
Therefore, Believe, God, God seals Eph 1:13 for us to see
Eph. 1:6-7, Col 1:21-23, 1 John 2:1-27, John 19:30, John 1:29
Amazing, thank you Father, and Son as won for us to be given new life freely from you wow Isaiah 6:1-7

Wait say what now?

In God's strength, my weakness is made perfect, God getting all the credit, not me anymore
I am not qualified to wear any crown, Thank you Father fro making us all equal to see we need your lead, not our first born sled anymore
Thank you Balin , great to hear from you

Wait say what now?
It's a classic response to the false dichotomy fallacy. Just as in the case of the question here, there are not only two answers to the question, and no matter how you answer if you choose one of the two offered, you won't completely agree with either.

Thank you Father, you are sharper than any double edged sword

Ok sorry but you had me worried there for a minute

Matthew 20:16
So shall the last be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.

Matthew 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

I don't see a third option. ;)

Born from above means born of the spirit

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born from above. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:7-8

at the first resurrection we are born INTO spirit the same as Jesus Christ, same spirit body that is what John 3: 7 -8 is saying. until then we are flesh and blood
