If all professing the Name of Jesus Christ, if all claiming Jesus as their LORD, IF “All” are Saved, if all are “born again”
If ALL 40,000 are headed for heaven ---or what-ever.

THEN;

What Church you are a member of, what doctrines you hold as truth, If you repented, from what you repent, if and how you were baptized --

Matters Not!

Being of one accord, being of One mind, belonging to One Body;

Not necessary.

As long as you are part of the 40,000, all is well? It’s a done deal? Right?

But,

If you believe not all 40,000 are accepted by God, by what criteria, by what doctrines, by what standards, by “what” will you, can you use -- to make that determination?

Attacking the one asking the Question, does not answer the question.

The purpose of the Question:

To encourage proving what has been accepted as truth. To question how and from what or from whom the set of beliefs, accepted as truth - came.

Why question? Jesus Christ stated clearly “THE MANY” coming in HIS Name are deceived.

There aren't 40,000. Stop lying. Also, since you aren't one of the supposed 40,000, of which are you? Why do you avoid the question?

I sent you the site.

but even if there were only 20,000, you have no answer

even it there were only 100 -- how can they all be on the same path as different as they are?

Do you have an answer from the Word of God?

I very seriously doubt it

Those with non-essential differences can be on the same path.
Do you have an answer from the Word of God?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human? What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building. -- I Cor 3:4-9 ESV
I very seriously doubt it
I seriously doubt you'll ever say which one you belong to.

you are correct on that question, I see persecution around the corner and coming fast.

Christ was put to death by Main street, not by a tiny congregation and all He did was tell the Truth.

my point; one believe in a rapture another of a resurrection back to flesh and blood, another in speaking is tongues another that we are immortal souls, and some that baptism is not necessary, and on an on

If there is no such thing as sound eternal doctrine ---If there is no Truth, every thing is changeable -- I want no part in it.

Why does Christianity have so many denominations?

We started with Christ and where are we today?

If you type into a search string the question “How many Christian denominations are there”, you will get the following top results….
  • “Christianity is the world’s largest religion. It’s also incredibly diverse… there are approximately 45,000 different Christian denominations worldwide as of 2024 (details here).”
  • Wikipedia offers a list of what they term “List of Christian denominations” that is not counted but seems to go on forever (details here).
  • “Estimations show there are more than 200 Christian denominations in the U.S. and a staggering 45,000 globally (details here).”
It seems the term “Christian Denominations” is broken down into three basic categories (details here)…
  • Catholicism — 1+ billion followers. Under the Pope, Catholicism is the largest denomination.
  • Orthodoxy — Found mainly in Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Middle East.
  • Protestantism — Emerging from the Reformation, this group includes Anglicanism, Baptism, Lutheranism, Methodism, and Pentecostalism.
Where did the 45,000 Christian Denomination Number Come From?

Re-posting it over and over doesn't make it right. So which one of these is yours?

If all professing the Name of Jesus Christ,

Big "IF".

What makes the difference is FAITH (Heb 11:1 - Rom 10:17 - Eph 2:8) not "Belief" (mental assent).

The "VISIBLE CHURCH" is inevitably populated by "WHEAT" (Actual born again believers), and "TARES" (religious adherents with no actual FAITH) in varying levels of concentration (Mat 13:24-30). What Denominational system they are part of isn't particularly important. Their FAITH in Jesus' SIN OFFERING (Isa 53:10) is the determining factor.

"Theology" is like noses - everybody's got one. Personally I'm a member of the "Assemblies of God" denominational system.

Bob, my problem is beliefs, doctrines are all over the board, does that make any difference?

Is Christ divided? Just "believe" in Christ and doctrines are of no concern?

the difference between a catholic and a LDS is jump,,, but both are on the path to eternal life??

I do not read that in "The Word" I study from.
And I've shown you why it's a lie.

I won't, because you bought into the lie.

tell me please, why 40,000 is a lie if religion organizations confirmed the number? What did I buy?

In most cases NO. "Doctrines" are man's attempts to reduce Scripture to "Practice". Christianity isn't essentially "Doctrinal" in the absolute. FAITH (Rom 10:17) is the basis, and Denominational paradigms may or may not have any truth connected to them. Heb 11:1 gives two aspects that "FAITH" must have, Rom 10:17 tells us where the FAITH comes from. "Doctrines" aren't FAITH, they're only "Intellectual assent" which doesn't have "Substance", and isn't "Evidence" of anything except human "Wisdom".

Which church is yours? It's a simple question.

Do you understand the world we live in to day? insanity rules, no compassion, no love

I am very old and have never seen any thing like it, born before WW2, we have been warned it would be like this but it is worse than I anticipated.

Just posting on this blog can put a person in harms way, why would I expose myself and those I love to the insane?

Not accusing you, just saying there could be insane folks on this blog.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Right now they are all doing what is right in their own eyes. When the rapture comes it will expose the false prophets, people will be outraged at having been defrauded by them and that is when all genuine Christians, the ones left behind after the rapture, will again be in one accord.

2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

This word "cloven" in Old Testament refers to the hooves of clean animals. It is one of the two requirements for an animal to be clean. It is typology that their walk has been impacted by the cross of Christ. Here is the only use of this word in the New Testament, it is unique to the book of Acts and indicates a unique agenda of the book of Acts. Luke is saying that their tongue has been impacted by the cross of Christ. Instead of everyone speaking what is right in their own opinion, they are bowing to Jesus Christ as Lord and letting His death and resurrection impact their speaking.
