I should say all the lines together, in a "poetic reading", point to the one answer.
 
I'm going to slightly adjust the last line of my Password to be more precise in the poetry/syntax. Might help as a clue.

My first thought was also resurrection, but I knew, characteristically, your riddle wouldn't answered by my first thought. :unsure:

Riddle Explanation:
I heard the call = God calling Samuel's name
Makes all ears tingle = 1 Samuel 3:11 "And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle."
Didn't need Indiana = The ark was taken, but Israel didn't need anyone to return it cause it caused tumors/etc and Philistines returned it themselves.
We return as well = 1 Samuel 7:3 "And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines."
The one I called = Samuel called/anointed Saul king
Called me in death = With the Witch of Endor Saul called up the dead Samuel
