You must know my stance by now since I've been open about it since joining. I believe that the sinner is not saved by quitting sin. That would be misplaced faith in the guy in the mirror .
Once I decided to repent/ change my mind about the object of faith.
Instead of trusting the obedience of a sinner to be perfect from then forward, I saw myself guilty in need of a Savior Who purchased everlasting Life.
That everlasting Life did not suddenly become a temporary gift to be taken back at the first second or third sin. The same temptations remained and will doubtless continue while in a mortal body.
God gives, however solutions for restoration of fellowship once it is broken by sins. He doesn't kick me out of the family, but if not dealt with by 1 John 1:9, it will escalate until David kills Uriah and steals his wife. David did not go to hell. He expressed his confidence in his eternal destiny when his baby from the adulterous affair occured. The death of one child was one punishment. More suffering was described in Psalm 32.
Hebrews 12 is what a child of God experiences at times of rebellion and shameful behavior. In David's case it was murder. He went to heaven, but was treated as a son upon the earth.

The man of sin's sure gonna have a tough time convincing everyone to let him build a temple to sit in and claim to be God if he does all that. You would think he would deceive the people into thinking he was God and not go full blown slithering snake devil works until after he tricks them.

It's interesting seeing how everyone sees this. If it is the Ecumenical Movement(Catholic,Eastern Orthodox ect.) why just Christians and not Jews who don't believe Jesus is the Christ? Or why not Muslims also who do not believe Jesus is the Son Of God? If this ecumenical movement claims all religions lead to salvation and becomes the one world religion why bother the Christians,Jews,Muslims,Hindus or any other religious belief when the claim of the ecumenical movement is that all religions lead to salvation?

The real threat to the devil. and his crowd are those that teach salvation can only be found thru Jesus Christ.
All other religions are acceptable under the coming one world government as long as they worship the anti-christ first and foremost which they will do.

And see that's the part that throws me off in that this Man of Sin requires everyone on earth to worship he himself as the only true God or their killed for not worshiping the image. But then again if this one world religion lets you worship any religion you want and says all religions lead to salvation it doesn't explain which one he(the MOS) is of. It sounds more like, I am going to execute all who don't worship me as God but you can worship any God you like . One cancels the other because you cant be any religion you want because if you don't worship the image he sets up as God then your on his list and he kills those who wont.

Yes, well the next phase is when you won't be able to believe what you can see with your own eyes. Yes, Hollywood has been working on this ever since they had moving pictures. Yes we have had liars since the garden of Eden. But what is known as a "deep fake" is not where someone lies about what someone says, it is where you can see that person on a video saying it and you are unable to discern if that was truly the person saying it or a deep fake.
Yes, ever since the garden of Eden those in power have wanted to be the gate keepers of what is "true" and to equate the "official narrative" with "the truth". However the world from Babylon was split into a hundred, two hundred plus nations speaking different languages with everyone trying to control what is and is not true. Doing that required debunking other liars. Therefore the liars were also focused on speaking the truth when it served their purposes.
But if we have one world government we will eliminate that adversarial approach to the truth and if this one world government has AI their ability to disseminate falsehood and create total mistrust in what anyone is saying grows exponentially. Not only so but they can fully control the internet so if you say something that contradicts the official narrative they can shut you down and freeze you out of buying and selling.
Therefore what is coming is anyone who truly wants the truth will have to turn off the computer, throw away the phone and focus exclusively on fellowship of the other believers and reading the word of God.

We have been told repeatedly in the word of God that we must discern the spirit, we must know the truth, the church is the pillar and base of the truth. Iron sharpens iron. Sometimes the disagreements are not trolls, they are those who are making valid points concerning something you spoke and by taking it to heart you will be sharpened. Other times it is trolls and we that is also a blessing. The Lord said that we are blessed when they persecute us because that is how they persecuted the prophets before us. We have also been told repeatedly that there are false prophets, false teachers and Satan like a roaring lion is wandering about to see who he may devour. Satan is not permitted to devour someone who is abiding in Jesus Christ. So that also is a blessing. If you come under an attack by Satan it is evidence that you are not abiding in Christ.
