There was no law.... these thoughts they never had. There was no such thing as incest. Hundred's of years later more then one wife.. so forth so on. There was no "known to cause birth defects and other issues in your bloodline." In the time of Adam and Eve. Again Mosaic Law forbidding incest.... was not there. There was no curse .. nothing. Your looking at this after the fact. Today you do this and there are going to be "birth defects and other issues in your bloodline".

the only way around the obvious is if god created additional humans that weren't worth mentioning right after adam and eve that weren't related. However, I am not aware of anything in the bible suggesting this so we cant make that assumption.

Eve was the mother of the human race in the days before the Flood. She must have had daughters that slept with her sons. But I don't think Adam would engage in sex with one of those.

Men back then had strong genetic health and there was no fear of abnormalities being born of close relatives as we have today.
God did not forbid incest at that time because all children born were having excellent and strong genetic capacities.
Men lived for 800 years! 700 years! Even 500 years!
The earth was still rich in life giving properties that keep human bodies vibrant and healthy.
No fear of the human race being destroyed by birth defects and weaknesses that were going to appear the longer man was living on earth.
During the Millennium, when the earth will be restored to a very high level of health environment, some men will live to be a 1000 years old.
