And in Matthew 13:33 He said the kingdom is like leaven that spreads through the whole lump. The growth of the kingdom continues until He returns.

many say no; leaven is sin.

the apostasy spreads throughout the church until He returns.

will He find faith on the earth?

The mistake here is mixing two different things and calling them the same. The Bible does not say obedience puts people under a curse. It says disobedience brings the curse.
In Deuteronomy 28, the curses are not for those who obey. They are for those who refuse to obey. God says plainly:
“If you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God… all these blessings shall come upon you.”
Deuteronomy 28:1–2 NKJV
And the curses come only when people do not listen and do not obey:
“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God… that all these curses will come upon you.”
Deuteronomy 28:15 NKJV
So obedience is never called a curse. Disobedience is. Jesus Himself taught the same thing. He never warned people that obedience would put them under a curse. Instead, He said obedience leads to life:
“If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Matthew 19:17 NKJV
And again:
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”
Luke 11:28 NKJV

Jesus also made it clear that faith and obedience belong together, not against each other:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
Matthew 7:21 NKJV

If obedience placed people under a curse, Jesus would never teach this. Yet He did, openly and repeatedly.
The problem is not that people obey. The problem is when people break God’s word and refuse to turn back. That is why Jesus preached repentance. Repentance means turning away from disobedience and returning to God.

Jesus explained this with a simple picture:
“Whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24 NKJV
The house that falls is not the obedient one. It is the one that hears and does not obey.
Faith does not cancel obedience. Faith leads to obedience. This is exactly what God promised in the new covenant:
“I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts.”
Jeremiah 31:33 NKJV

God’s goal was never lawlessness. It was hearts that love Him and walk in His ways.
So the idea that “everyone who believes in obedience is under a curse” is not taught by Jesus, not taught by Moses, and not taught by the prophets. The curse is for those who reject God’s ways and refuse to repent. The blessing is for those who believe God and follow Him.
Life, blessing, faith, and obedience all walk together.
You are right that the curses are for disobedience. And the warning to all is that "as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse" (Ga 3:10). And the law itself explains that the curses apply when a person fails to "continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them" (Ga 3:10). And the reason the curse applies to everyone who is under the law is because "no one is justified by the law in the sight of God" (Ga 3:11).

These concepts are a spiritual blind spot for those who are trapped in legalism. But God can deliver anyone from legalism if they follow Him as He leads them out of it. It might not be an easy journey, but personal experience tells me that being delivered from the curse is a lot better than living under the curse.

until the day He returns.
The prophets later spoke of a new covenant, not because the commandments were changed or removed, but because Israel did not keep the covenant they had entered. Jeremiah 31:31–32

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31-

Your our own words conclude the covenant he made with them was the Ten Commandments . Jeremiah clearly is saying “ a new covenant not according to the one made at Sinai “ so in other words not according to the Ten Commandments I gave israel .

your own words here regarding the Ten Commandments

“the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.” The same truth is repeated in Exodus 34:28: “He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.”

“But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, ( past tense ) so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:”( temporary )
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when he says “ I’ll put my law in tbier hearts “ he’s not talking about the Ten Commandments given tonisrsel at Sinai the new covenant would not be according to the old .

The entire covenant changed the temple the preisthood the sacrifice and yes the law

“If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When god called Moses he also called Aaron as high priest then the levites became the preisthood over the law because they we were made preists by the law itself . They govern the law not the line of melchezidek which was before the law and after it but just the law had its en mediator , own ordination , own preisthood own people even

to take the covenant god made with israel with the stone commandments and try to make that the new covenant is error the new is not according to the one given at Sinai to israel he promised to come himself and give his law ( he did that in the gospel )

“Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭51:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He’s saying there will be a law that comes from him later

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

It’s the law of Christ not Moses who mediated the Ten Commandments

We were delivered from that law . Here’s a specific example regarding a ten commandment “ thou shalt not covet “

“For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s not going to help Christian’s learn to know more sin

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV

The Ten Commandments we’re given to people who didn’t have the spirit weren’t born again they were these folks

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers ( thou shall not kill ) of fathers and murderers of mothers, ( honor your mother and father ) for manslayers, for whoremongers, ( do. Ot commit adultery ) for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, ( do not lie ) for perjured persons, ( do not bear false witness ) and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

you tell those who are prone to kill “ do not kill “ liars you tell “ do not lie “ adulterers you tell “ don’t commit adultery “

did you ever notice Jesus never repeated the things that were said from the fiery mountain when the commandments were given ? Because that’s not how we come to God or where we come not to the giving of the Ten Commandments

“For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (for they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: and so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:18-

that’s not our covenant ours is through Jesus and his mediation. NOt Moses and levites and animal blood but Jesus word and Jesus preisthood and Jesus blood

The entire covenant is new it’s about the things Jesus preached if we go to him and learn we won’t be killing lying and stealing and those old commands given to the wicked folk killers and liars and thieves don’t apply to us we’ve learned to live out Gods Will from Jesus in the gospel and simply aren’t killers and thieves and liars and adulterers because he’s reformed and taught us to walk by the spirit rather than the letter engraved on rocks

then why is it called a ministry of death?
((2 Cor 3:7))

The law of God, including the Ten Commandments, was never the problem. God gave the law to show what is right and what is wrong. It clearly points out sin, but it does not give a new heart. Because people break God’s commandments, the law exposes disobedience, and disobedience leads to death. This is why it could be spoken of as leading to death, not because the commandments are bad, but because human hearts are weak and turn away from God.
God explained this long before through Moses. He showed that obedience leads to life and disobedience leads to death. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19, NKJV). The law promised life to those who obeyed it, but it also brought judgment on those who refused to walk in it.
Jesus taught the same truth in simple words filled with mercy. When asked about eternal life, Jesus said, “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17, NKJV). At the same time, Jesus showed that people cannot walk in God’s ways by their own strength alone. That is why He called people to repent, to change their hearts, and to follow Him. He made it clear that death does not come from the law itself, but from staying in sin. “He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life” (John 5:24, NKJV).
Jesus did not remove God’s commandments. He fulfilled them and taught their true meaning, not only in outward actions but in the heart. He also did not leave His followers without help. Jesus promised that God would send the Holy Spirit to be with them. He said, “I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” (John 14:16, NKJV). He also said, “The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you” (John 14:26, NKJV).
Through the Holy Spirit, what was once written only on stone is now written inside the heart. This was God’s promise from long ago: “I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts” (Jeremiah 31:33, NKJV). Because of the Spirit, obedience is now possible in a new way. Not by fear and not by human effort alone, but by a heart that has been changed and now wants to obey God.
Jesus explained this simply when He said, “He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit” (John 15:5, NKJV). Life comes from staying close to Him. The Spirit gives strength, understanding, and the desire to walk in God’s ways. That is why Jesus could say, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15, NKJV).
The commandments did not disappear. What changed is that God now gives His Spirit to help His people walk in them. Before, the law showed disobedience and brought judgment. Now, through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, God gives forgiveness, new life, and the strength to obey. This is the path from death to life, spoken simply, just as Jesus taught.

many say no; leaven is sin.

the apostasy spreads throughout the church until He returns.

will He find faith on the earth?

In Matthew 13:33, Jesus Himself explains what He means. He says, “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened” (Matthew 13:33, NKJV). In this teaching, Jesus is not warning about sin. He is describing how the kingdom of God grows quietly, steadily, and from the inside, until it reaches everything.
It is true that leaven can sometimes be used as a picture of sin in other teachings, but parables depend on context. The same image can be used in different ways. Here, Jesus clearly says the leaven represents the kingdom of heaven, not corruption. The point is that God’s kingdom does not come loudly or all at once. It begins small and works inwardly, changing hearts and lives over time.
Jesus often taught this way. In the same chapter, He compared the kingdom to a mustard seed that starts very small but grows large (Matthew 13:31–32). Both pictures teach growth, not decay.

The idea that only apostasy spreads until Jesus returns does not match all of Jesus’ words. Yes, Jesus warned that many would fall away and that false teachers would come. But He also promised that His kingdom would continue to grow and bear fruit.
Jesus said, “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14, NKJV). That is not failure. That is victory moving forward until the end.

When Jesus asked, “When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8, NKJV), He was giving a warning, not saying faith would disappear completely. He was calling His followers to remain faithful, watchful, and obedient, even when the world grows dark.
Jesus also said, “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18, NKJV). Darkness does not win. God’s kingdom continues to work, quietly but powerfully, until Jesus returns.

So both things are true. There will be deception and falling away, and Jesus warned about it. But at the same time, God’s kingdom continues to spread, changing hearts, producing faith, and bearing fruit. The leaven in Matthew 13:33 speaks of that quiet, unstoppable growth of God’s reign in the world, just as Jesus taught.

Jeremiah does say the new covenant is “not according to” the one made at Sinai, but he also explains why. It is not because God’s law was wrong, but because the people did not keep it. The difference is not the law itself, but where the law is written and how it is lived.
Jeremiah continues by saying, “I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts” (Jeremiah 31:33, NKJV). He does not say, “I will give a different law.” He says the same law will move from stone to the heart. What changes is not God’s standard of right and wrong, but the heart of the people.
Jesus confirmed this. He did not reject God’s commandments. He said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets… I did not come to destroy but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17, NKJV). He then deepened the commandments, showing they are matters of the heart, not only outward rules.
Jesus also taught that the Spirit makes this obedience possible. “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63, NKJV). And He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15, NKJV).
So the new covenant is truly new, not because God changed what is good and evil, but because He now changes the person. No more stone tablets without power. No more fear from the mountain. Instead, forgiveness, a new heart, and the Spirit helping people walk in God’s ways.
The covenant is new in power, access, and heart, not in abandoning God’s moral will. Jesus did not replace righteousness. He made it possible to live it.

the giving of the Ten Commandments

“In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai. And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. ( Jacob ) And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: there shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount. And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭19:1, 3-6, 8, 12-13, 16-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And God spake all these words, saying,”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He speaks them the words of thier covenant to them the Ten Commandments ( jacobs descendants see genesis 42-49. )

“Jeremiah does say the new covenant is “not according to” the one made at Sinai, but he also explains why. It is not because God’s law was wrong, but because the people did not keep it. “

it doesn’t matter why lol he said “ I’m going to make a new covenant that’s not according to the one you broke “

why they broke it doesn’t change that he’s going to make a new covenant he never was going to make the same covenant again with new people the gospel was the thing to come the new thing .

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31:31-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He says he’s going to make a new covenant not according to the one made with israel at Sinai ……it doesn’t matter why . It’s going be be a new covenant not according to this one above look at the scene when he gives israel the Ten Commandments now read this in the New Testament

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:18-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s a scene from the giving of the Ten Commandments we haven’t come to that place and those words . read this in the old

“And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭31:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and this in the new

“But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:7, 12-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we try to know Gods Will from the rocks given to a group of people wothoit the holy spirit who constantly worshipped false gods and provoked Gods wrath . we aren’t understsnding the gospel and the things Jesus came to preach and reveal in the gospel .

“but ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:22-24‬ ‭KJV‬

Christianity is about Jesus and the gospel not Moses and the commandments . That’s the old covenant made with exclusive people who had no holy spirit. It was a pattern for the real things to come later in Christ

The Ten, what is the greatest of the Ten Commands?

LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God's Love is the fulfillment to the Ten
Jesus revealed this love all the way to that cross without any flesh fight back at all. Amazing right?

Now in the Ten, the first four
Are Love. Love God Father in risen Son first. Not known until risen from the dead Acts 1:1-5

That last 6, Love our neighbor as self. Deeper now as God has loved us through Son taking on himself all sin first in his one time willing physical death.
Then risen and seen by the Disciple's. That wrote of this happening and our freedom to love all the same, includes those that do wrong, even self that has also. Romans 2:1-4
So, do what now? Love, God's Love to all 1 Cor 13:4-7, yet I see I at least need that type of love from God imputed in me first anyone else?
Homwardbound ! You are so right ... "God is Love" and His expression of Love, to us, is His only begotten Son, as our Savior, ... Thank you God, for your Love. Amen !

Please be careful when expressing your understanding of "Love" Jesus, making SURE that it ALWAYS aligns with God's expression and definition of Love, so as not to inadvertently mislead searching souls.
Now in the Ten, the first four
Are Love. Love God Father in risen Son first. Not known until risen from the dead Acts 1:1-5
We''re taught by "The Word" that we are in a covenant (LOVING) relationship with Father God.
Deuteronomy 6:5 "And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might."

Leviticus 19:18 "... but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Luke 10:27 " And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. "

And HOW are we to fulfill this "covenant" of Loving God, His Way, ... the Way Jesus did ?
By our expressing, as did Jesus, ... God's understanding of what His Love is;
By the "first four" of God's Commandments we learn and understand, that Loving God means to:

Exodus 20:1-11
1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 You shall have no other gods before me.
4 You shall not make to you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And showing mercy to thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: why the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Have a Blessed Sabbath Folks

Jesus also taught that the Spirit makes this obedience possible. “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63, NKJV). And He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15, NKJV).

neither of those verses say that the role of the Spirit is to make it possible to keep the Law.

i find it quite difficult to believe that anyone who is actually speaking by the Spirit could possibly make such an obviously false interpretation.

but this is clear:

Romans 6:14-15
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

This is the path from death to life, spoken simply, just as Jesus taught.

you didn't explain why God calls the Law a ministry of death...?

you ever break any commandments?
howamu times did you go to Jerusalem this year to offer sacrifices?

The wages of sin is death Rom6:23 and the law that describes what sin is, is the Ten Commandments 1John3:4 Rom7:7 Mat5:19-30 James2:11 why its called the ministry of death.

If we are in Christ, we are under the ministry of Christ, He said, if you love Me, keep My commandments john14:15 and gives us His Spirit which enables us to do so.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another [e]Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Sadly, not everyone subject themselves to the Spirit of God or the Law of God.

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

If we find ourselves in this position, we should consider praying to Him and ask His help in forsaking our sins Pro28:13. Not everyone wants to through John3:19-21

You dissapoint me tremendously, i though you knew better, i will reply to you tomorrow.

You dissapoint me tremendously, i though you knew better, i will reply to you tomorrow.

i am quite familiar with this:

do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?
For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man.
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.
But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

(Romans 7:1-6)
