Well, I just saw the ABS-CBN Christmas song for 2025 and it is just okay. So far nothing has topped ABS-CBN's Christmas song from 2009! I STILL get goose-bumps listening to that song even after all these years!

I figure I should post it. The Philippines in 2009 was a difficult years with Typhoons Ondoy and Peping along the passing of President Corazon Aquino which were reflected in the video. It has English subtitles for the people who don't understand tagalog.

The Philippines is home of the great natural singers. I'm Filipina and can carry a tune and naturally harmonize, but I would never be able to win a Filipino singing contest or even a drunken Karaoke sing-off, so many in the competition being better than me, lol!

Do you have any actual Filipino Christmas songs you like? My Mom loves Jose Mari Chan who wrote a lot Christmas songs. He wrote a lot of them in English. This is one of them. It's so cute!

Good to hear that you are Filipina. I'm sure you have a lovely voice. That seems to be a genetic attribute. You won't find many Filipino Pro Football and NBA athletes, but there are many exceptionally smart and musically gifted.

I'm not Filipino, but my first childhood friend was. Her parents were from the islands.
Then I later gained interest in native Filipinos because my teacher was. He was truly an athlete and very smart.

His Dad trained the army in Hand to Hand Combat and close range weapons. His Grandfather was his primary teacher growing up. He was asked to establish Modern Arnis in the public schools for fitness and as a revival of native Filipino culture.

He eventually came to America and West Virginia to pass along his Martial Art to Black Belts.
He is why I developed interest in the culture and enjoy your Christmas music in spite of not speaking Tagalog.

I look forward to more Christmas songs and will look some up.

Oh gosh! As you can see in the OP, my favorite rock version is set to private! I hope he makes it public soon....
