The gospel of Christ means to me to do as He asks.Jesus proclaimed with clarity and love, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). This was the heart of His message. He revealed God’s deep love for humanity, saying, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Jesus showed that salvation comes through Him alone. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
Jesus also spoke of His death and its purpose. He said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). On the cross, He gave Himself fully, fulfilling what the sacrifices pointed to. His death was the final sacrifice for sin, offered once for all, as He declared, “It is finished” (John 19:30). Through His blood, forgiveness is made possible, and through Him we now have access to God. After rising from the dead, Jesus became our living mediator, standing before the Father on behalf of those who follow Him, just as He promised, “Because I live, you will live also” (John 14:19).
Jesus did not remain in the grave. He rose again, defeating death, and said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25). His resurrection confirms the promise of eternal life for those who trust Him. He also compared Himself to living water, saying, “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst” (John 4:14).
Jesus taught that true love for God is shown through obedience. He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15), and again, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me” (John 14:21). These commandments guide us to love God fully and to love others rightly, as Jesus summarized, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). Jesus lived in perfect obedience and told His disciples, “I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you” (John 13:15).
Jesus also warned that rejecting Him has serious consequences. He said, “These will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life” (Matthew 25:46). Yet He also gave hope, pointing to the future kingdom of God, where all things will be made new. Scripture shows this promise: “I saw a new heaven and a new earth” (Revelation 21:1), where God will dwell with His people, wipe away every tear, and remove death and sorrow forever (Revelation 21:3–4). In that place, “the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him” (Revelation 22:3).
Therefore, Jesus calls all people to repent, to believe, to follow Him, and to remain faithful. In His death, resurrection, and living presence before God, we find forgiveness, life, and hope. In Christ, righteousness and truth endure forever, and God’s glory shines without end.
The gospel of Christ means to me to do as He asks.
I agree that unity in the gospel is vital. The kerygma/Gospel fulfills and supersedes OT revelation, but does not contradict its correct interpretation (Heb. 8:6-13). However, the NT revelation of GRFS will never become obsolete (Phil. 2:9-11, Rev. 22:12-13). Thus, new revelations from God’s Holy Spirit will not contradict the Gospel, although they may express its truth in a different way or form, or else God would be inconsistent or tricky. There may be new wine skins, but no new wine (Matt. 19:17). Post-NT inspiration must be didachaic information regarding contemporary moral or political issues.
The kerygma/GRFS/Gospel should be every Christian’s creed, and only belief in this crucial truth should be viewed as a test for orthodoxy or heresy. As Paul wrote in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Conversely, judgments concerning a person’s spiritual orientation or ultimate destiny should not be made on the basis of didachaic or secondary doctrines. (If any judgment is made, it should begin with a self-examination per Matt. 7:1&5, 2Cor. 13:5-8).
A major reason many Christians throughout history have not manifested the love and unity of God’s Spirit (Eph. 4:3) as well as they should is because of failure to realize this truth. If they did, it would free them to speak honestly and fellowship without becoming unduly upset about relatively minor issues. They would receive God’s blessing as peacemakers, who draw inclusive circles around people based on the kerygma rather than denominational lines between them due to didachaic differences. Jesus prayed for spiritual unity (cf. John 17:20-23, “May they be one…”). Thus, unity regarding the Gospel is more important than accuracy regarding doctrinal details.
The normative way of stating the Gospel kerygma/GRFS in the NT is “Accept Christ Jesus as Lord” (as in Acts 16:31, 2Cor. 4:5 & Col. 2:6). The main points of Christian orthodoxy implicit in this statement can be explained or elaborated as follows:
Although perfection is not achieved in this life, the necessity of learning the didache in order to strive for perfection indicates the need for perseverance or to keep on learning and growing spiritually until we die physically (Phil. 3:12-14).
- There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or Creator God (Deut. 6:4, John 3:16, 2Thes. 1:6), who is both able (2Tim. 1:12) and willing (1Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.
- Human beings are selfish or sinful (Rom. 3:23, 2Tim. 3:2-4, Col. 3:5), miserable (Gal. 5:19-21), and hopeless (Eph. 2:12) or hell-bound at the judgment (Matt. 23:33 & 25:46) when they reject God’s salvation (John 3:18, Rom. 2:5-11).
- Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28).
- Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s grace or justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), at which moment God’s loving Holy Spirit of Christ indwells/baptizes the believer into the church (Rev. 3:20, Rom. 5:5, 1Cor. 12:13).
- Loving Christ Jesus as Lord (Luke 2:11), God the Son (Matt. 16:16) or God in the human dimension (Col. 2:9) means reflecting divine love as empowered by the Holy Spirit, thereby obeying His command to love one another (Matt. 7:21, 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2), which will eventually achieve spiritual maturity on earth and heaven after Christ returns at God’s resurrection (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Phil. 3:12-16, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4).

Extreme - More Than Words (Official Music Video)
Saying I love you
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words is all you have to do to make it real
❤ Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cos I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words
Now I've tried to talk to you and make you understand
All you have to do is close your eyes
And just reach out your hands and touch me
Hold me close don't ever let me go
More than words is all I ever needed you to show
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cos I'd already know
What would you do if my heart was torn in two
More than words to show you feel
That your love for me is real
What would you say if I took those words away
Then you couldn't make things new
Just by saying I love you
More than words

I agree that unity in the gospel is vital.
But "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amo 3:3
Point 4 talks about the need for repentance.
I am sharing the points about the laws so people can understand their needs.
Rom 7:9-12
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Faith without works is dead.
Words without actions are fake.
If you love me keep my commandments.
This is a mixture of gospel, obedience on His part and our part/works. The word "gospel" means "good news." Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom to Israel. John the Baptist also preached the gospel of the kingdom, which was, "..Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 3:2) That certainly is good news yet there is also more to this good news that you did not seem to drive home from (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The gospel of the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) and to "believe" the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation.Jesus proclaimed with clarity and love, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). If Jesus preached the Kingdom of Heaven only to Israel, How will you enter? There is a further element to the content of the gospel which Paul received from Christ and is called "the mystery of the gospel." (see Ephesians 6:19 and compare with Colossians 1:26-27; 4:3) This new revelation is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise. (Ephesians 3:6) Such equality, Jew and Gentile united together in one body was previously unknown. The distinctive message of the gospel is that Jew and Gentile alike may believe the gospel and be united together into one body. (Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 12:13)

Ephesians 3:1 - For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— 2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, 3 now that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, 4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), 5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, 7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. 8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ. Now to answer the second part of your post that is, the idea that Gentiles and Jews would be joined together, It certainly was not new and not hidden. God spoke about it from the beginning, and Jesus openly taught it.
In the Old Testament, God already promised that all nations would be included. He said to Abraham, “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 22:18, NKJV). This promise was not limited to Israel only. From the start, God’s plan included the nations.
The prophets spoke the same way. Isaiah wrote, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob… I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6, NKJV). This shows one salvation, one Servant, for Israel and the Gentiles together.
Jesus Himself taught this clearly. He said, “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd” (John 10:16, NKJV). Jesus did not say there would be two groups. He said one flock.
Jesus also said, “Many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 8:11, NKJV). The east and west are the nations. This means Gentiles would share the same promise as the fathers of Israel.
Before ascending, Jesus commanded His disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19, NKJV). This was not secret knowledge. It was spoken openly by Jesus to all.
Peter, one of the twelve, understood this clearly when he said, “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:34–35, NKJV). This came directly from what God showed him, not from Paul.
So the message that Gentiles are included, accepted, and made one with God’s people was already revealed in the Law, the Prophets, and the words of Jesus. What some later called a “mystery” was not unknown. It was simply rejected by many until God made it impossible to ignore.
Now why people call what was already known, a mystery is a mystery to me.
He preached it first to isreal only before he died ….If Jesus preached the Kingdom of Heaven only to Israel, How will you enter? Also what do people who believe do? if believing In God and Jesus simply enough? assuredly Not.
Jesus sent the twelve to preach only to Israel. Matthew 10:5 - These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ The disciples were specifically told to go only to the people of Israel, and "Pre Cross" they were not yet preaching anything about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. This shows that before the cross, the more distinct element to the content of the gospel of the grace of God that Paul taught and came to him through a revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12) was still a mystery.“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”
Matthew 4:23 KJV
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14 KJV
“And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.”
Acts 28:30-31 KJV
