Okay, after you show me another way of salvation.Ok. Can you then please show another verse where it teaches how one receives gifts today from the Spirit in a different way other than what the Bible already teaches?

You're proving my point, the signs and wonders were and are for unbelievers. People believed not only because of what He said but also because He did the works of the Father. Some unbelievers needed them then, and still need them today, conformation of the Word we preach, through signs and wonders. Again I say, if Jesus and the early believers needed the Word to be confirmed with signs and wonders, what better does the church have today? If I would minister to someone who is an unbeliever and has a sickness and I'm preaching or teaching them that Jesus heals today ( He is the same yesterday, today and forever ), and I lay hands on them while praying fervently and effectually, and Jesus heals them, the odds of them believing what I'm preaching grow exponentially.that not true it is GOD who does so. "And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen." Mark16:20
Jesus Himself said : John 10:37-38 37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”
No one is twisting the word of GOD you just don't know it.
When the Bible states that " your sons and daughters shall prophecy ..." is it speaking of everyone sons and daughters or just to the pointed audience he was speaking to?The text says "all mankind".
I have provided many. You're just a hater and that's all they do is hateYour immature nature and emotional state are on full display.
I suggest you stop and collect your thoughts. You have no Biblical answer to why modern day "miracles" do not match that of the 1st Century.
Your defense is emotional and not biblical.
There’s not one. Jesus is the way (Jn. 14:6; cf. Acts 4:10-12). Your turn.Okay, after you show me another way of salvation.
How old are you???I have provided many. You're just a hater and that's all they do is hate.
How old are you???
The real blasphemy is your comparing Jesus casting out demons to the stories, sleight of hand and parlor tricks of your ilk. They are not the same, apples to oranges.
There is only one way, by the Holy Spirit, as we're speaking of spiritual gifts, in I Cor: 12:11 " But all these (gifts) worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally AS HE WILLS." It's up to the Holy Spirit which way He endues us with power. There are three different experiences that BELIEVERS CAN have with the Holy Spirit. John 14:17 " Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He (1) dwells WITH YOU, and (2)SHALL BE IN YOU." Acts 1:8 " But you shall receive power , after that the Holy Spirit ( Ghost ) (3) COMES UPON YOU: and you shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth." Since the first disciples never made it to the " uttermost parts of the earth " then the " promise of the Father " is still in operation until then. There’s not one. Jesus is the way (Jn. 14:6; cf. Acts 4:10-12). Your turn.
I agree there is only one way. And I believe in those verses obviously, as I am a follower of Jesus. We simply have a matter of disagreement on some of their applications and understanding. There is only one way, by the Holy Spirit, as we're speaking of spiritual gifts, in I Cor: 12:11 " But all these (gifts) worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally AS HE WILLS." Paulie, stick to the subject. The subject is, or was, the power gifts listed in I Corinthians 12, one of which is the gifts of healing . You claim there are no healings by God through man today, so that list should suffice. Let's not go down any rabbit holes, please. There is no evidence of any exhaustive list of spiritual gifts in scripture.
I agree God, who is Spirit, does give us dreams and visions but the subject was spiritual gifts as listed in scripture and are those gifts listed in I Corinthians 12-14 are in operation today.Surely, God speaking through dreams is a means by which He imparts prophecy, words of wisdom and words of knowledge.
That is NOT my claim. I see God healing trough men and women today.Paulie, stick to the subject. great rebuttal to this:Your immature nature and emotional state are on full display.

Sorry Paul, I got my posts mixed up. I noticed it, went back to edit it but you're only allowed 5 mins., after that it's too late. Again, sorry. That is NOT my claim. I see God healing trough men and women today.
So then, you agree that there are THREE SEPERATE experiences a Christian can ( should ) have with the Holy Spirit? With, in and upon?I agree there is only one way. And I believe in those verses obviously, as I am a follower of Jesus. We simply have a matter of disagreement on some of their applications and understanding.
I believe the Spirit dwells in the body of the saved—the church/Christians, according to Paul. I also agree the church is to be filled with the Spirit (also according to Paul). I also believe the Spirit convicts (according to Jesus, in the book of John), and is part of one’s conversion. I also believe the Spirit washes, justifies, and sanctifies, says Paul. I believe the Spirit seals us and renews us. I’m sure there are other things I can say, but that’s my belief. Have a good day.So then, you agree that there are THREE SEPERATE experiences a Christian can ( should ) have with the Holy Spirit? With, in and upon?
