What format are they in now? Every time I download videos from YouTube they're already mp4. That said, you might look at MKVToolNix. It's free. It's for mkv files but I've added other file types to it. Use the Multiplexer tool>add your files>change the output name to mp4. It doesn't recode, it just changes the file type.

Just looked at website, not sure how to install or find the downloaded youtube files. I think they maybe at
C:\Users\Daniel Marsh\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\IndexedDB\https_www.youtube.com_0.indexeddb.blob
I'm not sure how to access them. All help would be fantastic Brother.
Please, keep in prayer, shoulder feels like wound is still open. Ouchhhh
thanks, Daniel

I thought it was already mp4 when you downloaded it. That's what youtube files usually come as...

Try changing the last three letters of the file name (after the dot) to mp4 and see if it will play.

Or look at the file type (let's say mkv for the example) and google "freeware converter mkv to mp4."

Do you have a computer or are you using a phone? I don't know anything about smart phones. If you have a computer, I'd just download and install a free video downloader. There are a lot of them, but I've had pretty good luck with 4K Video Downloader. YouTube Video Downloader is the best one I've used, but it's not free.
