Hello @Vcp, do you mean for us to pray for them in a general way by simply lifting them up to the Lord, or is there something of a more specific nature that you'd like us to be praying for them too? Thanks :)

I thought that I should also say, welcome to CChat, seeing that you are a new member here :giggle:

God bless you!!

~Deuteronomy (David)

1 Thessalonians 5
23 May the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body
be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

Well, most of our children are suffering from sickle cell anemia and recently we had demonstrations with teargas which affected them mostly, they haven't recovered fully . We hope prayers matters.

Hello again @Vcp, thank you for the additional information, though I'm very sorry to hear what your children are facing right now!

I've prayed and will be praying for them. Please update us when you can/as needed, especially if something changes so that we can know what to pray for.

God bless you!! (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Ask your local doctor for advice. Pray that a specialist will answer your call, and reach out to the best doctors available. If you need money or resources to get there, some sickle cell charities can help. I’m not sure which ones, but starting a GoFundMe and being clear and concise can also make a difference when you post on there.

I don’t know what else to say except: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." I share this not to say “just deal with it,” but to remind us of the need for wisdom, like Solomon’s, especially in trying times. We need to recognize the seasons, and sometimes prayer is practical.

There is a way out. I know there is. I have seen too much of God to doubt it. He promises a path forward.

I wish you all the luck in the world. Please don’t take this as condescending. This is one reason I believe in church in various forms: not only to equip, but to open our eyes. Sometimes God gives someone else a dream or vision that He hasn’t given you, spreading gifts among us so we realize we need each other.
