How Jesus is both fully man and fully God in one being might not be for us to ever fully understand as He understands it to be.
But, why He must be such a union, for our sakes, is what we need to grasp and to guard in our hearts.
Contrary to common thinking, the dual nature of Christ was being revealed in the Torah.
Jews did not see it for what it is, because not enough knowledge was yet made known to put it together.
That knowledge was unveiled with the birth of Christ.
I will explain.
This is just an intro.

Hebrews 2:
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

The two are One, yet Two, How? Only Daddy, PaPa, Father knows as Dad, might reveal it or not to some and not orhers yet. All in PaPa's, timing not mine. until Father decides to, then others know in thanksgiving and praise forever in them, Thank You Father in risen son Jesus.
Amazing, when, reading Matthew 19 when Jesus was called Good. Said to that person, why call me good, only his Father is good.
Also said this in Mark and Luke's testaments. Jesus is God, I agree, and yet not, yet is. Amazing, how he said to one of the disciples, he who sees me, has seen the Father (The Father doing the work through me) the exact representation of Father for us to be new in the risen Son given us by Father to learn new and be new in love to all, wit the same mercy and truth of Son first for all, not a few, all
Wow, Lord, thank you Jesus fulfilled Psalm 103:12 for us, woe is me, anyone else?

I am not very good at interpreting King James antique English.
And, it is not the most accurate translation.
We are souls.
It was our soul that was created in God's image.
God delegated to the Soul of Jesus to possess all of God that a Soul can ever know and express of God.
That is why all the God we can ever know, even throughout all eternity, must come through Christ.
"No one comes to the Father except through me!"
I don't waste much time with them....
They are a diversion that can cause you sorrow if you believe you must change them.
It is you that must become stronger in better knowing sound teaching (your faith) than you had before...
And, that is what must take place in you in your attempts to refute their wrong ideas.
God has it for your own benefit that you learn more than you had before when presenting your refutation.
The ones that will not be helped are drones with pre-programmed minds.
They do not think truth.
They can only think in mantras and dogma.
It is those among them whom God has a hand upon that will find themselves wishing to disprove what they are taught, for themselves.
Your refutation may help those who already know something is wrong with what they were taught to believe.
I have met ex-Jehovah Witnesses that came out as God led them out.
The Holy Spirit did it.
God must open our eyes.

Yes, it has been quite pointless trying to debate these unitarians. They will take scripture out of context and say what they think.. be disproved on that point, and then just return to the same point over and over.
Classic phrase they use - 'The Father is greater than I'
Not reading the context of Jesus soon ascending to equality with the Father, in the same position.
Jesus was in the flesh, limiting His power.. He was also on earth, in a lesser position to the Father. That didn't make Him a lesser being, mortal, unequal. What was going on was more like 'self-limiting' than unequal, inferior.
And the argument that He was being given power, that He didn't intrisically have.. falls down when you see Jesus performing things only God can do, for example, forgiving sin of those who haven't personally offended Him. Jesus forgives sin itself, not just the person who has tried to hurt Him.
Prior to the Incarnation?
He was eternally having the power of being God.
Philippians 2:6-8 states that he needed to forgo his power to make himself become as a man.
Who, though He eternally existed in the essence of God,He did not think equalities {plural} with Goda gain to be seized (means to violently take) and held; rather, he made himself nothingby taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man,he humbled himselfby becoming obedient to death—Even death on a cross!
The Greek tense reveals that he was eternally existing in God.
Only God exists eternally.
If anything?
The Father delegated for the Son to stop being as God as to fulfill God's plan for the Atonement of man!
It is not humble to choose to remain ignorant.
Some feel that way.
It takes humility to accept the truth.
For when we accept the truth?
We die, so that He may increase in us.

Jesus said the following words to a very confused group of Jews.
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
"Before Abraham was, I am" is a statement Jesus made in John 8:58, signifying His eternal, divine nature by claiming the name God revealed to Moses (Exodus 3:14), asserting He existed before Abraham and is God Himself, a claim his listeners understood as blasphemy, leading them to try and stone Him. It's a declaration of pre-existence and identity with God, not just being older.
Yet, the Torah when seen in the Light of the Spirit, will reveal that Jesus was existing in the OT as a union of both God and Humanity.

Jesus is being also God expressed and interpreted through the soul of Jesus. -
Interpreted for our souls, to have God translated into our human way of thinking.
