I'm new here and looking forward to making connections and sharing the word of God. I'm starved for Christian community right now. I moved to a new state and have yet to find a church home. I am interested in scripture based doctrine and have been seeing the Bible differently than how it has been traditionally taught without proper context. It's like I'm learning the Word all over again! Well, that's all for now. God bless you all :)

I am currently working my way through the Old Testament and learning more about the gospel through it. I’m currently in Leviticus. I also use The Bible Project to help me with context and Hebrew etymology.

I’m learning about God’s love for us from the very beginning. That He’s not this big scary dictator that wants to punish us, and that all He truly wants is to be near and with us. He loves us so much that He kept making ways for us to stay connected to Him despite our rejection of Him, just so He could accomplish what He intended for creation from the start. Nothing can separate us from His love. I’m learning so much more than I’m able to put into words lol but that’s just a little overview.
