How Jesus is both fully man and fully God in one being might not be for us to ever fully understand as He understands it to be.

But, why He must be such a union, for our sakes, is what we need to grasp and to guard in our hearts.

Contrary to common thinking, the dual nature of Christ was being revealed in the Torah.
Jews did not see it for what it is, because not enough knowledge was yet made known to put it together.
That knowledge was unveiled with the birth of Christ.

I will explain.
This is just an intro.

Grace and peace.

Surely, the mystery of the weakest being the strongest and the least being the greatest has something to do with this.

I spoke with a Jehova witness about this and they do not think Jesus was both fully God and fully man they somehow think he was a prophet but not God even though Jesus likened himself to being God many times.

If we relied on a man for our salvation we would be in just as much error as any other religion

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1Ti 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Some people do not understand how Jesus can be God manifest in the flesh when God is bigger than that human body.

When the Bible says God was manifest in the flesh it means He manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus for in Him should all fulness dwell, and He has the Spirit without measure, and He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

And the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God for He cannot be separated.

The man Christ Jesus does not have His own Spirit that moves around with Him for there cannot be a double portion in one spot and a spot where the Spirit is not at.

But He moves through the Spirit and wherever He goes the Spirit is there.

The Spirit does not have to move for the Spirit is already there.

Making Jesus an omnipresent Spirit showing a visible image of Himself portraying His ways walking through Spirit.

Which the Bible says Jesus dwells in the light which no person can approach.

And no person has seen Jesus and no person will see Him for He is an invisible God.

But He showed a visible image of Himself.

Jesus said the following words to a very confused group of Jews.

“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

"Before Abraham was, I am" is a statement Jesus made in John 8:58, signifying His eternal, divine nature by claiming the name God revealed to Moses (Exodus 3:14), asserting He existed before Abraham and is God Himself, a claim his listeners understood as blasphemy, leading them to try and stone Him. It's a declaration of pre-existence and identity with God, not just being older.

Yet, the Torah when seen in the Light of the Spirit, will reveal that Jesus was existing in the OT as a union of both God and Humanity.

Grace and peace ...............

This is a vital but surprisingly overlooked truth some claim Jesus was merely a man when I spoke to a Jehova witness about this they believe he was a prophet not God and when I asked them about this very verse they didn't really have an answer for it

AMEN, I know there is a lot of scriptures proving JESUS is GOD.

I really like this one, JESUS speaking here on earth AND in Heaven at the same time.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

John 1:1
King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1
jehovah witness bible, the New World Translation
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.

Sad they follow a twisted bible along with Charles Taze Russell since 1870.

More evidence that people follow a man not JESUS and HIS word.

Foundation is the key, they strip the deity of JESUS.

Colossians 2:9
For in him the whole fulness of deity dwells bodily,
That shows us what He is after his resurrection, ascension, and glorification.

But He had two natures even before the Incarnation...
He was eternally existing as a union of immaterial Soul, and Immaterial Deity.

Colossians 2:9 speaks of His hypostatic union (Soul and Deity) now being manifested in a Body.

Here are some Torah passages where we can see the union of his Soul and Deity being revealed before Jesus was born into a human body.

'You will eat the old supply and clear out the old because of the new. Moreover, I will make My dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject you.'I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people." Lev 26:10-12
And they began to remove the foreign gods from their midst and to serve Jehovah, so that his soul became impatient because of the trouble of Israel. Judges 10:16
Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone loving violence his soul certainly hates." Ps 11:5

We can easily read those passages without realizing what it is exactly saying.

For...
God (Deity) is not soul!
God is spirit in essence.
Yet we see in those OT passages that the Lord God of Israel laid claim to having also a soul as an integral part of His expression!

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

As we can see...

God's Word was making known what is to be known by us now, before the time when it was to become known!

The Lord Jesus Christ before being born into a human body?

He was in Heaven being as the Lord God of Israel!
Being both Deity and Soul in union!

Yea man, foudation is the KEY.

Strange how men take the KJV and twist it to suit their personal needs and somehow it still remains GOD'S word. Why don't they just wright their own?

They have no idea who they are really working for and their followers are sucked in. BUT it's there own fought.

If JESUS never filled me with HIS spirit I guess I also could fall for the lies.

I mean yeah if it doesn't fit their strange box then it isn't the word of God to them you are right foundation is key and if the foundation is not right then the whole building collapses.

But people for whatever reason fall for these lies and have no idea that the devil has whispered to them what they think is of God.

If I had to guess to show the unity between God and man

Not exactly... It is to produce a unity between God and man, otherwise not possible.

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is
in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known." John 1:18 NIV
John 1:18 (in the Greek) states that no one can see God. And, that Jesus (because He knows both God and humanity) is able to take what is foreign to man about God, and to 'exegete' God to man, in a manner that men can relate to.

Jesus is God and man interpreting God for man, making man perfectly able to know God as a man should!
As a good pastor is to exegete the Scriptures to his flock?
It is the same Greek word is used for the Son to exegete God to mankind.

The Amplified Translation captured this fine nuance.

No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God,
Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him
[He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him
and He has made Him known].
A pastor I used to know, who taught his churches from the Greek and Hebrew, told me that the function of Jesus concerning God, is the same function commanded of pastors to exegete the Scriptures. Thus, enabling members in his congregation to grasp what the meaning and intent is from the original languages which is normally foreign to the congregation.

The Son being both fully man, and fully God, is the perfect candidate to exegete God for man's understanding.

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time?
Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? John 14:9

Not only that...

When Jesus created all creation?
Everything He created?
Will be something that a human soul can perceive and comprehend and relate to.
Because?
Everything he created?
Was created through Him - With His Soul!

Grace and peace!

I wish to repeat something once more to show how the Lord God of Israel was shown in the Torah to be having two natures in union.
Both - Humanity... and Deity!

The Torah revealed the pre-incarnate Christ!

'You will eat the old supply and clear out the old because of the new. Moreover,
I will make My dwelling among you, and my soul will not reject you.' I will also walk
among you and be your God, and you shall be My people." Lev 26:10-12

so that his soul became impatient because of the trouble of Israel. Judges 10:16
Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone
loving violence, his soul certainly hates." Ps 11:5

Keep in mind...
God (Deity) is not soul!
God is spirit, not soul!

Those OT passages showed the Lord God of Israel laying claim to having a soul as an integral part of His being and expression!

God is NOT soul!
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

That is why the Lord God of Israel was the one expressing so often what is classified as human emotion!
His soul was for human beings, to communicate something that we identify would with.

It was His eternal soul that allowed Himself to stop functioning in all His powers of being God, and humbled Himself, by means of His own soul, to enter the sinless body born of Mary to make Himself become truly as a man. A sinless man!

What do you say to people like unitarians who say the power Jesus has is delegated to Him by the Father, but not actually intrisically His?
