Funny stuff all that.
I think people are just waking up to the truth and leaving others behind.
Great to see the lengths they are going to to intellectualize it though.
Keep freaking out, because it is waking people up more.

You are funny, appreciate the lightheartedness even though it is actually pretty tragic.

I was just reading a report of the high suicide rate among the IDF, shortage in soldiers that they are now forcing the Ultra Orthodox to fight as well, high percentage of mental health issues in the general population as well, application for passports to leave above those wanting to immigrate, crumbling economy, lost wars on all fronts etc., etc.,

My worry is declining powers have a pattern of acting very erratically... they do have this Samson Option which is worrisome.

Was that meant to be be hysterical?:LOL:

It wasn't a typo if that is what you are asking.
I think we could be doing better things here than trying to sort out the HISTORICAL facts too though.
I do not hate Israelis.
I think the safety of their innocents is a legitimate Christian cause.
I have only questioned here the idea that modern Israel itself is a Christian cause.

It makes my point perfectly. I'm glad you shared it.

Just curious... have you ever tried to carry on a conversation with your sister's parrot?

There is a sign that says "Arguing with ignorant people is like arguing with a pigeon. No matter how right you are the pigeon is going to poo on the board and strut around like it won anyway." And that perfectly describes several of you here because even when irrefutable facts are shared you simply call someone a name like a four year old, deny the facts and say you won. Here comes HeIsHere with her temper tantrum now in 3..2...1

I agree with your above post that Muslims have a distorted understanding of Jesus.

Yes they do, but I have heard through missionary friends that many have been having dreams of Jesus and are becoming Christians, no easy thing to do in a Muslim country.

Regarding your histerical "facts" I think we should take into account that modern Israel is in a constant state of war.
I could waste time pointing out that when compared to what actually happened on the ground what you have there is a list of quarter truths and lies, but what would be the point?

I didn't write it. It's a long list so we can just settle it by you telling us when Palestine was a country.

I think by now I understand to some extent where you are coming from.
You are committed to "blessing" modern Israel.
The Genesis 12 blessings will arrive in the mail when they arrive.
"Israel" is at war and does not need people to go digging for inconvenient truth, but to support it.

You're half way there.

I have told you in many different ways that you have mistaken the identity of the "seed" of Abraham (Galatians 3:16).
None the less you chose to stand where you are, so I consider that you and I may just be part of some sort of "great experiment".

Yes, I know you have, but I disagree with your view.

I support Palestine all the way.

No surprise there. So you support what they did on Oct 7 and since?

I even consider the possibility that some of the "Arabs" may be part of Paul's remnant in Romans 11.

Perhaps, God knows who they are so I'm not worried about it.

So the final answer to all of it must lie with God.
I do not think God is cursing my life.
The more vocal I become about Christ's kingdom the more He seems to bless me.
I have been poor in spirit, mourned very much, been made meek, hungered and thirsted for righteousness and been chucked out of a congregation for the things I say. Mathew 5.

I'm glad you're blessed. But what I don't understand is why your side feels so threatened that you can't say a simple blessing for the Jews and pray for peace in Jerusalem, which would be good for the whole world.

Anyway now that I have been making an effort not to infuriate you and have upgraded your name to "Rosemary", are you in a mood to answer my question about Paul's olive tree?

You stupefy me with your view more than anger me. Rosemary is fine as long as it's not the horror film one.

I think it is the kingdom of Christ, with Abraham and all the faithful children of Jacob at the base.
The faithful Gentiles are grafted in and their faithful children also become like natural branches, and more of Paul's kinsmen are to follow.
Collectively the whole thing is called "All Israel".

I see it differently. I believe in a tangible land called Israel that God will restore to the Jews. I believe they are blinded until the Gentiles come in. Then I believe they will trust the anti-Christ until their eyes are opened and they will recognize their/our Messiah and mourn because they rejected Him.

It just seems like such a pity that everyone wants to put them through all that soul destroying stuff when they could just come to Christ now.
Are you sure it is not some kind of trick?

Some have come to Christ. But according to Romans 11 I believe there are still more to come, greater than those who have come in already. It's 3am where I am. I think it's time to hit the hay as my grandmother used to say. I'm seeing double, that means I should've been in bed an hour or more ago.

Just curious... have you ever tried to carry on a conversation with your sister's parrot?

I have. The parrot stares without listening and says what it wants, without bothering to think through either my thoughts or that
which it wishes to say.
I don't believe that there are any parrots on this thread though.

Your olive tree sounds a bit like mine then.
Maybe you didn't like me thinking it is the house of Israel?
Would that be because Gentile branches were grafted in?
I don't think you would object to it being Israel before that.

Jews have been coming to Christ for nearly 2 millennia (2000 years). Here's one who IMO has a better understanding of the gospel than probably 99% of others I read online

I can do that. Bless the Jews and peace be upon Jerusalem. I know though, that won't be enough for you because you feel threatened when others don't venerate and worship the Jews and Jerusalem like you do.

You mean we've been arguing all this time and we agree? My understanding is we are all there by God's grace. Neither of us has a right to boast because God will cut off both of us for unbelief. Which can toss us into the OSAS question. I don't believe you get special salvation privileges because you're a Jew or a Gentile. All come through the cross.

You understand though that supporting an entity that is at war and seeking for the truth are not compatible things?

I wouldn't say Israel, the gov't, is right in all it does. But I don't believe they were trying to genocide anyone after Oct 7. Like I said if I were going to...er... unalive you for some reason I wouldn't call you on the phone and tell I'll be there at high noon. You'd be pretty dumb to still be there when I showed up. The things that were done to not only Jews on Oct 7 I think were shocking, but I'm more shocked at some Christians reactions. And I really can't understand it. I'm befuddled by it really.
