In Norway we have a saying like - difficult to translate but I'll try :
"Enhver er salig i sin tro"

I means something like; anyone is convinced that MY set of believes and doctrines are true.
With other words: Those thinking different from ME are wrong, because I am right!
I have the fasit; I know the meaning of life, I have understood it, and the ones in opposition of
me are wrong - and to the extreme they are my enemies and I want to fight them,
if necessary to my death.

"Enhver er salig i sin tro"

HisH your bully tactics aside, facts matter. Are you a millennial? You're acting like one. Feelings don't replace facts. The facts say you're wrong. Name calling like a second grader doesn't change anything.

I thought is was funny, at least I did not tell you to go suck pigeon farts.

Yes, I wonder which definition of "country" we should abide by?
The one that fits your position or the one that does not support your position.
Oh right facts don't care about your feelings.

Experience has informed me that this discussion is a waste of time, I am thankful that many are seeing the light of the present world we live in, and they will grow in number, because I believe God is able to reveal His Truth to those who seek to know it.

A generation has long passed, but carry on.

I will go with the words of Christ Jesus to His followers.

I thought is was funny, at least I did not tell you to go suck pigeon farts.

Pretty sure my comment was "I would rather", not " you go and". I know you think it's funny, you consider yourself expert level on any subject anyone brings up.

Yes, I wonder which definition of "country" we should abide by?

The same that is used for every other country in the world. Seems fair.

God is able to reveal His Truth to those who seek to know it.

It's there in black and white, all they have to do is read it.

I will go with the words of Christ Jesus to His followers.

While that sounds like you're more pious than everyone else the fact is God has something to say about it and Jesus obeys the will of His father. I believe God keeps His promise, because if He doesn't I have no hope of salvation, nor do you.

He did.
Period.

Dear fellow human beings. And if there is a AI robot reading this; fu** off.

Dear fellow humans. You are like me; a human being. So; no need to regret being a human. We are all in the same boat; and we will not live eternally. Some day in the future it's all over. The exact person “you” was here on this planet, and “you” will never return after your decay.

Sounds depressive? Maybe, but please listen dear friend:

Life is a fantastic thing – really !!!! You have this one and only chance, and it's up to you to do the best out of it. You cannot, in the long term, accuse anyone else of destroying your life. Because it's all up to you. That's the hard but true facts of life.

My advice to you is as follows:

- Try to balance your rational mind with your irrational tendencies. Do not forget “the other side”.
- Take care of nature, climate, animals, plants. You are not alone in this world. You are totally dependant of nature. Totally.
- Above all: Love your human beings. Love can solve every problem. Love is the basic thing. It's above all things and the basic of human existence.

I wish you all the best things in life.

I have also noticed "Palestine was never a nation' gets repeated ad nauseam.

I dont really care about history as an indigenous person I have had land given back to me that was wrongly taken from my ancestors and now my name is on numerous land deeds, to my extended families disgust I have ignored and renounced such things, as I dont care about this physical earth I only care about my inheritance in heaven. Also with a viewpoint the past can demonize those who care about such things.

Yet I do like the history of the bible, and the history of the lands in the bible and note that the land was renamed Palestine, and now most of it has now been renamed Jordan.

Which is what it is, I think when people say there was no nation called Palestine, they are referring to the fact that it was a land mass, and not an ethnic people.

Lots of Egyptians, Turks, Jews, Persians etc have moved into the area over the last 1000 years and now in the last one hundred yrs have been referred to as Palestinians as a collective group.

Would you also refer to the Jews that have lived in the area for the last 1000 plus years as Palestinians?
100 odd years ago the population of Palestine was in the tens of thousands, yes that little a number!

So are all the arrivals from surrounding countries that have come to make a new life here(sic) also now become Palestinians? and If so are all the Jews that have arrived now also Palestinians?

I think this is key, there seems to be antisemitism from ancient times to now as if the idol worshippers still see Israel as Gods people so need to act against them to prove they are not. So Israel are in for a tough time no matter what yet if we could do away with Jew hatred the problems would all go away.

Then Palestine should become a nation and to me it sort of already has,

Israel the land of Palestine has a nice ring to it!

No, I don't agree with that conclusion. If I remember correctly that was the conclusion of one quoted person, and not the author.

Richard Land, executive editor of The Christian Post and president emeritus of Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina, attributed the decline of young Evangelical support for Israel in part to the influence of cultural Marxism in U.S. colleges and universities.

"First of all, it's true, unfortunately," Land said of the shift. "I see it all the time. I think there are several reasons. One is that the younger Evangelicals have been to university in the last 20 years, and the universities have, to a significant degree, been subverted by Arab oil money."

"Some forms of cultural Marxism see Jews, in particular, as a white oppressor class, so it breeds antisemitism," he said. "You look at what's been going on recently, and that can't be that widespread without ideas. Ideas have consequences. And for the last 20 or more years, the younger generation of Americans have been poisoned by this brainwashing philosophy."

"And then, as they've been influenced by cultural Marxism and by seeing Israelis as oppressors, some of them have become amillennial. Of course, if you're amillennial, then you don't believe God has anything to do with Israel," he added.

Well that describes my view perfectly. Now we know why supressionism has raised it's ugly head again. Like the man said, when Antisemitism rises, so does supressionism, a heresy that stopped spreading after the Holocaust but is rushing back again.

Modern Israel was foretold by the prophets. Spurgeon thought that Jews needed a homeland. Sir Isaac Newton, predicted the start of Zionism, even the time it would happen. He was out by about a year.

You need to get it into your head that God still deals with the nation of Israel. There is no separate salvation for Jews and Christians, but that is irrelevant. Jesus will return to stand on the mount of Olives, not mount Rushmore. Sorry about that, America.
For there to be a biblical Israel there must be biblical Jews.

Since there are no biblical Jews there is no biblical Israel.

So get that into your head.

The Jews did not steal the land. It was their homeland for 3000 yrs and then when they came back they still paid exorbitant prices for the worst of the land. Arabs were given a chance to have the majority of the land, and the better half and they refused it. Even Google backs me up. Historic facts.

Jews paid for land in Israel, with much of the land purchased through organizations like the Jewish National Fund and private individuals. This land was legally acquired through transactions that followed the real estate laws of the time, often from absentee Arab landowners and occasionally from the state. The land was frequently undeveloped and purchased at high prices, sometimes with compensation or resettlement offers for tenants and squatters.

Legal transactions: These were real estate transactions conducted according to Ottoman and later British Mandate laws.
Land characteristics: The land was often uncultivated, rocky, or swampy, but Jewish organizations paid high prices for it.
Impact on tenants: When land was purchased that had tenants, Jewish organizations often paid them above what was required by law for new owners, and some were resettled.

I agree with your above post that Muslims have a distorted understanding of Jesus.

Regarding your histerical "facts" I think we should take into account that modern Israel is in a constant state of war.
I could waste time pointing out that when compared to what actually happened on the ground what you have there is a list of quarter truths and lies, but what would be the point?

I think by now I understand to some extent where you are coming from.
You are committed to "blessing" modern Israel.
The Genesis 12 blessings will arrive in the mail when they arrive.
"Israel" is at war and does not need people to go digging for inconvenient truth, but to support it.

I have told you in many different ways that you have mistaken the identity of the "seed" of Abraham (Galatians 3:16).
None the less you chose to stand where you are, so I consider that you and I may just be part of some sort of "great experiment".

I support Palestine all the way.
I even consider the possibility that some of the "Arabs" may be part of Paul's remnant in Romans 11.
So the final answer to all of it must lie with God.
I do not think God is cursing my life.
The more vocal I become about Christ's kingdom the more He seems to bless me.
I have been poor in spirit, mourned very much, been made meek, hungered and thirsted for righteousness and been chucked out of a congregation for the things I say. Mathew 5.

Anyway now that I have been making an effort not to infuriate you and have upgraded your name to "Rosemary", are you in a mood to answer my question about Paul's olive tree?
I think it is the kingdom of Christ, with Abraham and all the faithful children of Jacob at the base.
The faithful Gentiles are grafted in and their faithful children also become like natural branches, and more of Paul's kinsmen are to follow.
Collectively the whole thing is called "All Israel".

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Funny stuff all that.
I think people are just waking up to the truth and leaving others behind.
Great to see the lengths they are going to to intellectualize it though.
Keep freaking out, because it is waking people up more.

Just curious... have you ever tried to carry on a conversation with your sister's parrot?

So get that into your head.
So Hitler killed 6 million Jews for no reason. Your reason and logic are about is good as your knowledge of the Bible when it comes to the Jews. Sadly lacking, in other words.
