John 20: 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God. Is Jesus saying that not only has he a Father, but also that this Father is the God that he prays to. He also says that his Father and God is the same as our Father and God. In other words: we should pray to and worship this same Father and God and no one else. Please comment so that I can better understand.

It is not possible for us to rightly put ourselves in Jesus' shoes. We are not, and never will be, "the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person" (Heb 1:3). We were not with God in the beginning, we are not God, and all things were not created by us (Jn 1:1-2). We are not "I Am" (Jn 8:58). We are not able to look at the scroll which He is able to take hold of and open (Rev 5:1-7). And finally, it will not be to any of us that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that we are Lord...

9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Php 2:9–11)

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Jesus is a visible image of the invisible God and the way He gave salvation.

Which God gave His own human body to take away our sins.

Jesus is God and man and when He worked in Israel He could speak from the viewpoint of being God or the man Christ Jesus.

The man Christ Jesus had to pray to God the Father as all humans must do.

We are the same as Jesus in His visible image but He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Jesus is the express image of God and we are in the image of God.

So the man Christ Jesus' God and Father is our God and Father.

Genesis 1

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27S o God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

In the first book and the first chapter states God is more than one "Personality", one Entity if you will.
There is no trinity, no ghost. there is God the Father and the WORD which came to earth to be the first born son of God the Father. Christ stated He and the Father are ONE. one in mind and nature, in total agreement.

Christ taught we are to pray to the Father, as our Father. We are to become Sons in the Father's Family.

Yes we are to pray to the father and we can also pray to Jesus or the holy spirit but this verse here is not saying that it is the father only that we pray to now if one would pray to Mary that would be an issue because she is not even alive nor can she hear or help us.

There is no evidence to suggest that one is even in heaven once they pass away for that matter concerning the resurrection and such so someone like Mary cannot hear us but Jesus is alive and he can and does hear us there is no scripture that says you cannot pray to Jesus or the holy spirit but the father is basically the head decider Jesus is our advocate and the holy spirit prays with us when we don't know the words to pray

John 14: 13-14 And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
John 16: 23-34 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name; ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
It seems that the object of the asking is not for material things but things in which the Father may be glorified in the Son. God's glory is His Holy Spirit. When Jesus ascended back to the Father to get glorified, he received from the Father a glorified spiritual body made up of souls and spirits of those humans chosen by the Father to get baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit by Jesus (as predicted by John the Baptist). Those who receive the Holy Spirit become part of the Body of Christ because they have received a portal through which the Son, and the Father who is in the Son, can enter the being indwelled. As the Son baptizes, the Father's glory (Holy Spirit) is increased and distributed. All who have received the Holy Spirit of the Father are in the family of the Father and in the body of Jesus Christ by being united with them through the portal called the Holy Spirit. We become one with the Father and Son through this portal. What would make my joy full? For God the Father to choose loved ones and people I meet in my life and know them personally, for Him to bestow His grace on them. The Son is the temple of the Father, and the Son obeys the Father, so when the Son says that he will do it, it is the Father who will get it done by choosing the one prayed for and directing my life to influence the one prayed for. Jesus is the image of the invisible God the Father. The Father speaks through and empowers the Son through the Holy Spirit that is in the Son. In the verses above, the Father is being prayed to.

If I'm reading correctly are you saying that there is no Holy Spirit? " But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to LIE TO THE HOLY GHOST (Spirit), and to keep back part of the price of the land? While(s) it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? THOU HAST NOT LIED UNTO MEN, BUT UNTO GOD? Acts 5:3-4. It seems that the writer of Acts equates the Holy Ghost (Spirit) with being God. The Holy Spirit can gives gifts, so He has a mind " For one is given BY THE SPIRIT the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge BY THE SAME SPIRIT" 1 Corinthians 12:8 ; The Holy Spirit has a will " But all these worketh that ONE AND SELFSAME SPIRIT, dividing to every man severally AS HE WILL. 1 Corinthians 12:11 ; The Holy Spirit has emotions " And GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD....." Ephesians 4:30. If I understand it correctly, having a mind, a will, and emotions, as does both the Father and the Son, denotes personhood. Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as a person " But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost(Spirit), whom the Father will send in My Name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26 The Holy Spirit(Ghost) is certainly part of the Godhead! HE was there " in the beginning " of creation Genesis 1:2, He is both the Spirit of the Father AND the Son " But ye are not in the flesh, but in the SPIRIT, IF so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD dwell in you. Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is none of His. And IF Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the SPIRIT IS LIFE because of righteousness." Romans 8:9-10. The Holy Spirit has to have life, because HE IS LIFE! Please do a careful study on this. A famous baseball manager once said, and this has helped me, " it's what you learn after you think you know that counts." In other words it's good to have a teachable spirit. Peace and love.

Jesus never, as far as I know, instructed us to pray to Him. " And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing, Verily, verily (truly, truly), I say to you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father IN MY NAME, He shall give it you." John 16:23. In this passage Jesus is giving final instructions to His disciples and those who believe on Him through their word, before His passion(suffering and death). Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us to the Father, even when we don't know what to pray ( read Romans the 8th chapter ).

The only perfect representation of Father, the way, the truth and new life offered to everyone. The only perfect person to have 100% obeyed God, Adonai, Yaweh, God whom
Jesus, the Son of God, only did perfect as told to do snd say as told to say perfectly for us all, Died once willingly, once for us all. To give new life in Daddy's,, Father's PaPa's Spirit and truth John 4:23-24

An example I see is:
You have two children, and only one can live, the other has to die, which one do you choose to live and which one to choose to die?
Can you pick one one, over the other.?
Neither can God, So, God sent Son in our place, to save us all, yet, no one saved, in that death. Being 100% forgiven in the willing death of Son first. 2 Cor 5:16-22. Now, risen and the Disciples saw Jesus risen Acts 1:1-5 and heard what Jesus told them for forty days before Pentecost happened, where Father is now here to this day in Spirit and Truth for us all to believe and see. They saw him, believed him touched him, ate with him. We do not see him physically anymore as they did. 2 Cor 5:16. He is as real as the air we breathe to live physically., now we live Spiritually in God Father's Spirit and Truth, not of the first birth, now in the second birth, God does this through us. We do not work at it, for it anymore,
Religion(s) do that. ,Religion says it is done, then why is religion working at it to remain done? Saying it is done and then saying we got to do more? learn to at least trust God is the gift of God, to us all that choose belief. From day one anyone who believes God (Eph 1:13) there is where te new life begins, Justified, sealed by God through Son. to learn new daily in love and mercy of God given you, Where, you remain forgiven by God, to learn from any and all mistakes made after belief to this done work for you too. 1 John 2:1-27
The resurrection gives the capability for anyooe to be saved by God through thier belief to God, not quitting, even when ever mess up again and agiin Col 1L21-23, these that do not will learn new and stand in beleif too
Kick out doubt, in your first born flesh nature, stand in trust to God it is done John 19:30 for you to recieve truth God simply loves you too, the same as anyone else. No respect of persons from God, thanks you God no one better than anyone else
Thanks

Where did you get this?

"...he received from the Father a glorified spiritual body made up of souls and spirits of those humans chosen by the Father to get baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit by Jesus (as predicted by John the Baptist)."

1 Cor 12: 12-14 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Greeks, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink unto one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.
1 Cor 12: 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Eph 1: 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. The Father's glory is His Holy Spirit which in Isaiah 63: 9-10 is described as the angel of His presence. Angel because it can be sent, and where the Holy Spirit is, the Father is.
Eph 1: 22-23 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. In these two verses, Christ is exalted by the Father as the Head of His body, the Church.
Col 1: 17-19 And he is before all things, and by him all things exist. And he is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in all things he might have the pre-eminence. These verses seem to indicate that in all creation, Christ was the first (alpha) because he is before all things and by him (the Son being filled with the Father's Holy Spirit, the presence, power, and will of the Father) all things exist. Not only was he the first before creation, he is also the first to be born (made alive) from the dead.
Romans 12: 4-5 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office, So we being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

The church, as Christ's physical representation on Earth, is the organism through which He manifests His life and continues His work through the Holy Spirit in the world today. Jesus is the sole head of the body, providing direction, life, and authority to the church.
John 17: 1-5 These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee. As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou (the Father) hast given him (the Son). This power to give eternal life is exercised when Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit in order for him to enter the being indwelled. When the Son enters, so does the Father who is in Jesus. He is the only way to the Father. Jesus is glorified because he is gifted with the presence of the Father. When Jesus told his disciples to wait for him in Jeruslem, he also told them that if he didn't go, he would not be able to send the Comforter (the Holy Spirit). Obviously, when Jesus ascended up to heaven to get glorified, he went to the Father to receive this power of sending (baptising with) the Holy Spirit (Comforter).
John 7: 38-39 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. But this spoke he of the Spirit, whom they that believe on him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. This seems to indicate that those who truly believe in Jesus will receive the Holy Spirit. This power to baptize with the Holy Spirit was given to him when he went back to the Father to get glorified. Who are members of His Church? Those who are chosen by the Father, believe on the Son, and get baptized by the Son with the Holy Spirit so that the Son, along with the Father, can enter our beings. We then become members of the Family of God the Father, and members of the body of His Son ( one with the Father and the Son). What do we all share? The Holy Spirit which acts as a portal through which the one true God operates in our reality by His presence in His Son and in us through His Son.

You should worship God alone, which consists of three separate entities, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. If you know Jesus then you know the Father. This knowledge and wisdom are given from the Holy Spirit.

You should worship God alone, which consists of three separate entities, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. If you know Jesus then you know the Father. This knowledge and wisdom are given from the Holy Spirit.

Does Jesus have a God. According to scripture the answer is yes. Does the Father have a God? Case closed.

I agree with all you said but one word used
That word Church is not the true word from the Greek
Church in Greek means Building. God does not live in buildings
In the Greek the word used Was/is "Ecclesia" which are the Called out ones
The Ecclesia, does not live in buildings. Now gatherings are good to have and be in and participate in, Yet as said in
Hebrews 8:1-4 Jesus would not be any of these buildings
Love to all, God's type 1 Cor 13:4-7, 13
Mixing Law and Grace does not mix
