Your paraphrase is not in the Bible.

To play Bible Trivia you are to ask a question that can be answered with a Bible verse. Interpretation of scripture is NOT an answer.

AFTER the question is answered with a Bible verse, then you can share any insight you have regarding the question and answer.

This paraphrase is in the Bible. Didn't you research it? In fact, it may not even qualify as a paraphrase, it may be the actual translation. THe verse you are looking for is Rom 11.32. If you are a reformed student, you would naturally not like this verse, but it's right there for all to see.

Romans 11 v 32 God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on all.

I do like the Amplified Bible translation of this verse (Romans 11:32). Because it helps with it's meaning... this verse is for the Jew and Gentile... ALL are disobedient and need a Savior... the Lord Jesus Christ is the Only One that can save ALL.

Romans 11:32 - Amplified Bible

32 For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all [Jew and Gentile alike].

Tell me, what do you mean by a "reformed student"... I don't know what that means?

Basically it refers to those who hold to Calvinism.

I don't get into denominational debates. Nor do I follow or claim any denomination.

I just love God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God's Word - the Holy Bible is all I want to talk about!

What Bible verse in the Book of Hebrews describes the Word of God?
4:12 is one

Yes! Correct! That’s the Bible verse, great job EddieM! 😍👍

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Can you demonstrate that the Apostle Paul did NOT write Hebrews?

This Thread is to encourage people to read and become more familiar with God's Word - the Bible so, those asking the question must make sure the answer can be found in a Bible verse (not an interpretation) and those answering the question need to post the Bible verse with their answer.

Doing this, will draw us closer to God's Word.(y)

@EddieM - I'll post the Bible verses for you this time.(y)

Leviticus 25:11-13 - New King James Version

11 That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine.
12 For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.
13 ‘In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.

Here are some of my insights about Jubilee....

I'm pondering what the number "50" is and all the "7s" involved in getting to "50"....

I'm also wondering if there is a "Jubilee" for the Father.... doesn't EVERYTHING eventually return to the Father and He is all in all... just a thought.

1 Corinthians 15:28 - New King James Version

28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

The seven sevens - the number of completion, I think. And a year of rest before starting again. I think 8 was symbolic of a new beginning, and maybe 50 moreso, because not just 1 seven, but 7 sevens.

To me the Jubilee was a National Reset.. If a person became overly indebted their debt was forgiven. If they lost their family land that land would be restored to them.. It was a chance to start again and get right what one had got wrong in the last 50 years.. I think the Jubilee was one of the main reasons why Israel became the richest nation in that part of the world.. People who had burnt themselves in their lives and had learned a bitter lesson would strive to succeed way harder and would avoid the mistakes they made in the former 49 years..
