There is simplicity for one in God's will, to continue that way. Even the best of us really need to grow, still. But for many there is so much of our own will that is put ahead of what God would bring us to. Growth can be slow with that. Love God fully, as the one who made you and had provision for you, love all others, without withholding it. The things God said earlier in revelation show more fully what God's will is and what God meant for us. Many make their reasons to override things from that. Things that differ or vary in some way from what there was earlier regarding anything was for accommodating that obstinance, that some will not perish for it.

Loving God is not possible if we will have no love for others. And God models it, with growth love should not need to be kept limited.

There are those who cannot get that far, some fear God existing is oppressing. But it is different if we see God totally providing for us. That would be just as it is, God providing for us shows God caring for us. God really loves us, we need the atonement to be restored to God, which God does provide.

PS. Extra prayerful/Careful study material: Where Is God's Word Today?

Hi, Nils here. When you say that Christians are workaholic in making their payments due to God as a "guilt" offering, I just want to inform you that alcohol does not need to be present at the Lord's Supper -- the vineyard grapes which are wild and sweet are not less His spiritual work that they would be preserved in bottles for Wedding food. "Guilt" is not here said to be capable of repentance, since "guilt" is a way of life, not a sinless way of saying "I feel ashamed".

And that is where I start calling myself a sinner and it is the reason why I know I cannot just change my way of life if the village throws me into a pond with bolted chains on my hands for being an "eed-jit". That is not guilt, that isn't like saying "I want to be with God", that is a severe kind of way to say "no, God smitest thee" to someone drowning.

Repentance is essential, it should not be dismissed as irrelevant in salvation. God is not willing that any perish, but they must come to repentance with their faith that they would be saved, and not fall away.

Faith is not the essential faith without repentance, and awareness of sin, which separates any from God, should be had, so something revealed from God is needed, which is needed from God, while awareness of God should already be there. We are here with practically zero chance of this just being so.

If repentance brings glory to God, does it matter that the path was long?
