So glad I found this site, I am looking for friendship as I live in a rural part of Ireland and due to long term health issues I don't see many people. I was saved in August 2025, a long story of how the Lord led me to Him. Anyway hello and I look forward to making some friends!

Hi Sunriser nice to meet and greet you to CC welcome! Have fun browsing the Forums and as soon as you start posting you'll be connected to members from all over the world. God bless & keep you there in beautiful Ireland🌹🙏

Welcome!

^ Gospel of John is often recommended as a great place to start reading the Bible.
This movie is a word-for-Word portrayal of John's gospel.

Also, please check out the Alpha Course.

There are 10 videos total, answering a lot of questions about faith, Christianity historically and in the modern
world, the estate of man, and God's design for humans. I hope you watch them. They could benefit you greatly
.:)

Hello Hornet! How are you doing today? I hope you had a peaceful night. It's nice to meet you, and I would love for us to get to know each other better. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to hear more about yourself.

Welcome! I had the pleasure of visiting Ireland with my grandmother to see where our relatives were from. Like everyone else, our family came from County Cork.

My great-great grandfather left Ireland just a couple of years ahead of the famine.... he was 14 years old, and they left out of Galway. I think that most of the clan were from counties Carlow and Wexford, on the southeast coastal area. I don't know how he ended up in Galway.... perhaps only because that was where the ship sailed from..?
They ended up settling in the south... mainly Mississippi...
