Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

Many errors are made in DISCERNING Holy scriptures, by the mere fact of not sticking to the basic root of ‘words’ and also in how ‘words’ are generally defined.

For instance , the word ‘man’ in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is not referring to ONE, SINGULAR ‘MAN”.

This is the definition of ‘man’ in the verse:

KJV: certain, man

(although the KJV insist it is a certain man, you can wait forever until that certain man arrives, or get on with your spiritual growth and put away all childish things of the carnal mind and look at what all mankind has done to find the face of this; “mankind of sin is revealed, the son of mankind’s perdition”

NASB: man, men, people, man's, human, mankind

444 ánthrōpos – man, the generic term for "mankind"; the human race; people, including women and men (Mt 4:19, 12:12, etc.).

The evil-influx of false-religious and political views, running rampage with impunity through communities as if they were divine and sanctified by God.

The beast indeed has a mouth that speaks and this will be its testimony, as it sinks in the Lake of Fire.(good riddance)

For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.

Therefore turn to God Father in the risen Jesus, Turn and not burn, when that day happens, when the old earth is gone and a new one begins, with the New Heaven in risen Son. Who turns everything back over to Father in Rev 22
I can hardly wait, yet remain in trust, trusting Father, not all has come to be as Father sees will be as said this in the beginning, seeing all as good and rested on the seventh day. Amazing so, see Hebrews 4:9-13 and trust Dad to reveal that too you too
How can one, anyone rest in troubles? Paul saw to do that, and not complain and still rejoice, even while in jail. Who rejoices in troubles? Wow, woe is me, I need God in risen Son and nhave got gvien this to me and you too, love all I see s the call.

The word can refer to an individual man. You are proposing an alternative, but this man/mankind is the son (singular male) of perdition. Also, mankind has long been revealed as lawless, so it would not be a sign of any use. 2 Thess. 2:4 mentions himself, also singular masculine.

"proposing an alternative" is what carnal people say to themselves to feel good about their inability to DISCERN what is Spiritual TRUTH.,

This Truth, in your carnal mind, could not possibly be from Spirit.

I only have one question :

Why did you even bother to reply with an opinion unfounded by Holy Scriptures !?!

It belittles us both, to behave as if we did not know the answer to that question.

Mankind is lawless, until their EYES and EARS are open to Spiritual Knowledge. Then and only then shall the Faithful 'few of mankind called and chosen', will receive the Law of Christ. The Spiritual anointing of God.

Many errors are made in DISCERNING Holy scriptures, by the mere fact of not sticking to the basic root of ‘words’ and also in how ‘words’ are generally defined.

For instance , the word ‘man’ in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is not referring to ONE, SINGULAR ‘MAN”.

This is the definition of ‘man’ in the verse:

The Bible says the saints will not be gathered unto Christ until the man of sin claims to be God.

Dan 8:26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

Here he is again a singular man.

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Here he is again a singular man.

Which he claims to be God and he will exalt himself above all that is called god and all people.

It is speaking of a certain man.
