Believe in the Lord Jesus And you shall be saved.......

The moment(INSTANT) the jailer believes he will be saved. So what do you suggest is the "trigger" in this verse?

What must I do to be saved?

Calvie 16:31...... Eat drink and be merry and thou might be saved.........

Ok. So the jailer, who is a natural man and can know nothing of God, is bringing out a "deep spiritual truth" that most believers don't understand?

How did you get that from that verse? It says only "shalt be saved", not became saved?

Yes, all who truly believe shall be (future) saved from God's wrath. But the question is: who truly believes, and why?
Believers believe. Because the Holy Spirit will convict /convince the world...ALL.

We can take it or leave it........And If you truly study His word, the convicting and convincing is day in and day out for ALL. Until our last breath.

No, it is God who is bringing out a deep spiritual truth - that He is the Savior, not man, and that He gives it to those whom He chose to have it, who beforehand were spiritually dead. They first must be made spiritually alive (saved), and from that, receiving belief per the verses I posted which verses you chose to discard. He does not do so for everyone.

[Eph 2:1 KJV] 1 And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;
[Col 2:13 KJV] 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Thank you for explaining. But "whoever" means just that, "whoever". God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, else why would He desire if He knew very well that the opportunity wasn't open to all?
you've actually just not heard what he said.

He said we have the word of God is given to us who will believe,

That means anyone who believes.

Which means whoever

Then he went on to say we pray for people to believe which means whomever.

Why not answer is full post ?

He was baptized though, wasn't he? Which shows us that he believed and was saved and then baptized. Refer to Acts 8:12,36-37.

The actual and true baptism occurred spiritually. The water baptism symbolized that and demonstrated a repentance from one's works to trust/faith in Christ. Because the eunuch believed in his heart, he was already saved as it is God alone who gives a new heart to someone upon their salvation

[Eze 36:26 KJV] 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

It means God did not predestine sin

If God had predestined moral free will that means he predestined sin.

Fixed it for you 🙂

God predestined that normal human adults could sin or not
and that when they sinned they could be forgiven IF...

But that verse isn't in any way related to the onset of salvation now, is it?

It is to the result of salvation. Salvation occurs spiritually and from that becomes manifested within someone and reflected by their beliefs and actions.

issue in this topic's discussion is whether or not the flesh can do what Scripture says it cannot.
A bogus Calvinist shibboleth that has already been debunked innumerable times. Man is more than just flesh.

[Job 32:8 KJV] 8 But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

[Job 34:14 KJV] 14 If he set his heart upon man, [if] he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

[Psa 32:2 KJV] 2 Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.

[Pro 20:27 KJV] 27 The spirit of man [is] the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

[Ecc 3:21 KJV] 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

[Zec 12:1 KJV] 1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

[1Th 5:23 KJV] 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Simple language.
Luke 12:48

The moment of conviction, the criminal BECAME beaten. Swift Justice and His Justice is what saves.
V-FIP-3S "Shall be beaten."

Luke 12:48~~But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Ecc 8~~11 When a sentence against a crime isn’t carried out quickly, people are encouraged to commit crimes.

Simple language.
Luke 12:48

Luke 12:48 is chastisement in/for this life for the correction of His Saints, not for salvation.

[Heb 12:6-8 KJV]
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

They deny, deny and deny the solution the Lord has brought to mankind. They are stuck on the problem, and cannot see His solution to the problem.

They beat their heads against the trees and won't pick up the chain saw.

You missed it. Or did you?........Simple language.

Same type of phrase and tenses.

The moment one believes(Aorist) they will be saved. The moment one is convicted they will be beaten.

Became saved. Became beaten.

We already covered the will be saved part.
The beating is for the instruction of His Saints. Their salvation had already occurred.

Right: that is the meaning of "not". Glad we agree on that.
What part of when tempted no one should say the lord is tempting them do you not understand.

What part do you not understand the wages for sin is death

Then You say he predestined sin, based on you believing he created man with moral free will.

You can't answer the simple logic of,

If he had created man with free will, how he could judge them.

It like me saying to you.

You can do what ever you want then I'll judge you for it.

Honestly your beliefs are so full question that leaves concern and disernment.

But you just won't discern for what your saying,
