That's not the argument Hitler used, Hitler thought humans would evolve into the ubermensch darwinistically by eliminating the untermensch. At any rate even that is besides the point, as even if Hitler had the premise you purport, that wouldn't change the nature of their side debate which mostly revolves around what is called The Problem of Evil. Since I guess I put my foot in it, I'll say I disagree with the conclusion of ZNP's side debate, but I partially agree with his premise. Yes many of the Jews were evil, that is a fact. The Holocaust was also evil done unto them that is also a fact. I don't think the Holocaust was a judgment by God, nor that it's like he permitted Satan to do anything. I think it's closer to Joseph's statement to his brothers "you meant evil for me, but God used it for good." Even terming it the Holocaust implies this dynamic, and I would note the Jews termed it the Holocaust, not the nazis, and the term implies a sacrifice. In many ways due to the Holocaust this directly resulted in the creation of the nationstate of Israel and their strong claim to legitimacy over the land so that the Jewish can have a safe refuge in the world in case something like that occurs again, thus supporting my conclusion and point of view. I won't go too much more on it though, cause while it is an interesting historical and religious grand debate, it is a digression.

No, I said it was righteous judgment, did not say it was God's righteous judgement. Dude does not understand righteous judgement. It is like one of these Karens going full Karen on someone only to have it blow up in their face. I used the example of Biff and Marty. I also did not say that they "deserved it". Jesus did not deserve to be crucified, He was innocent, therefore with what measure you measure it will be measured to you does not mean that you only get what you deserve. Also the entire discussion ignores the covenant with God. To claim that you are a Jew means you are claiming to have this covenant with God. Once you are married you are not as free as you were when you were single, things change. The only way you can blame God for what happened to them is if they say they were in a covenant relationship and they expected God to protect them. But that is a two way street, God expects you to obey Him. They're not our only ally in the Middle East. In fact Trump's good relationship with mostly the Sunni states also is beneficial to Israel, though in a softer way. Essentially the Sunni will at least have relative peace with Israel while Trump is President and has the political acumen enough to keep them relatively peaceful with eachother at least on the official level of nationstates. Though this doesn't totally mitigate the threat to Israel posed by the Muslim world, namely the Shia still hate Israel and also America, and they also control basically Lebanon and Iran, but it does indirectly help alot, plus with the ending of the Gaza war, this alleviates some of the exisitential pressure on Israelm and that existential pressure is what puts the Jews on edge rightly so, it's what they learned from the Holocaust. Though indeed Islam can never be trusted to fully to be at peace with the Jews in the long haul, it is worth it for the immediate time period for US, Israel, and the Sunnis to have peace and by even a very fundamentalist understanding of Christianity or Islam we could potentially extend the peace to last after Trump too if we're smart and lean into Trump's politics instead of poke against it, as even by a strict understanding of Sunni Islam they can have a peace for 10 years with non-muslims before we have to figure something else out by diplomacy or war.

I guess for the posterity since I didn't post it before, the full video of Trump's meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, and why past the stupid headlines of midwits on the left trying to provoke, actually Trump's meeting with MBS was pretty on spot and shows that actually we have a firm relationship with Saudi Arabia and Trump has actually made huge progress on the front of Middle East diplomacy. They are actually making a lot of big investments into America and they are also normalizing relations more with Israel too (keep in mind they were not originally part of the Abraham Accords in Trump's first term.) So whether one likes Trump, Jews, Islam , Christianity, or whether they straight up hate them, it's undeniable that Trump has made great strides on this front and that actually the new dynamic is preferable and more beneficial for all involved.

So I will clarify again, prior to the Holocaust, beginning in 1917 there was a call for Jews to return to Israel. Jews were not killed in the gas chambers in Germany until 1941. The Jews were first rounded up into the Ghetto in 1939. So they had 22 years to respond to the call to go to Israel. The Jews who were rounded up were in Germany, and in German occupied countries: Poland, Hungary, France, Slovakia, Greece, Belgium, and Austria.

Now let's define what I mean when I say Jews because it may not be the same as everyone else. I mean a covenant people who have a covenant with God. So what may seem unfair to someone who doesn't have the same covenant is not relevant, you have to look at the covenant the Jews had. Also, I am not referring to someone whose parents were Jews, I mean people who identified as a covenant people with God according to the Old Testament.

Now if you sign a covenant that has both blessings and curses you must keep that covenant, it is a legally binding document. It is very clear that they did not keep the covenant and as a result the curses were exercised on them. You may not like to hear that, but facts are facts.

Both of you should definitely watch God on Trial. I'd recommend it even more to TB frankly because of his past mentions of stuff and avatar choices. I would bet an award emoji you actually will like it if you approach it with a more open mind towards religion. In addition to being based on real events and also the filler/story philosophical themes being provided by actual Holocaust survivors, it is also a British film they did back in like 2008, it wasn't like a blockbuster or nothing, but still kinda something a nod to the british and commonwealth culture too in it.

56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

57 And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, The Lord Thy God;

59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God.

63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
