You need God, Jesus, Holy Spirt + your belief = Eternal life

You cannot have any missing part in one of them, including your belief

All three play a crucial role in our salvation program

Without God: you never know his word

The Holy Spirit brings the word into your heart.

Jesus pays for your sins

Everyone is given the chance from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to receive salvation.

But a person must believe in Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who pay for your sins.

Jesus took the wrath of God on our behalf

Matthew 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Matthew 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Matthew 26:44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

A Catholic can have God and Jesus + his/her belief.

The missing part is the Holy Spirit.

Or any Christian not just the Catholic

That salvation is only temporary, meaning you're temporary saved.

Until your name is blotted out from the book of life.

Your name must remained in the book of life to be saved.

There's another type of Christian who they think 🤔 they're born again.

This is what they have: God +Jesus+Carnal spirit = Everlasting Contempt, Hypocrite.

Their carnal spirit or nature still trying 🤔 to earn salvation.

You say, "are they saved or lost?" The answer would be God only know.

A person can change, just like the right cross thief

Both thieves were mocking at Jesus in the beginning 😳

But the Holy Spirit brings God's word into their hearts. The left thief rejected it with anger, to pierce a stony heart would have resulted in anger and pain 😢

The right cross thief have a different aspect, his heart accepted God's word and ask Jesus to remember him, he even acknowledged Jesus is God and they're sinners who deserved to be punished.

What are your thoughts?

Can you feel the Holy Spirit is trying to reach your heart ❤️?

What do you think it means to be in a saved state NOW, in THE PRESENT? What does being saved NOW entail?

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Is your answer that being saved NOW means being able to see the kingdom of God NOW? If I can see the kingdom of God NOW, I am saved NOW? And if I cannot see the kingdom of God NOW, I am not saved NOW?

Isn't it that once we're SAVED, we're SAVED forever?! That's what I've always thought, anyway.

Yes, if you cannot see the kingdom of God, you're never saved, like temporary saved in your own mindset.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

👆 is this once saved always saved? Can a disciples turn away from Jesus?

John 6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

👆 Even in the days of Jesus, many disciples left Jesus. What about now those who have not come face to face with him?

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

👆 Even angels will not have once saved always saved.

@Me_Clay : So how do we stay SAVED?

2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

For me, serving and honouring Him in all ways, study to show thyself approved, search the scriptures, keep learning, walking with Him, praying and communicating with Him, having enough oil for your lamp, always wait upon the Holy Spirit for direction. Be sensitive and alert to the Holy Spirit. Keep his commandments. Flee from temptation, etc., etc.
