No. I fear he would request that I would be burned at the stake, just like Servetus was in 1533.

Actually it was slow burning at the stake. I've read that he was the one who recommended the form of execution. Had no say in the trial but recommended the form of execution. So if that is true he picked the most torturous way to die. Could of said hang him nope not painfull enough.

All believers TITLES begin with being written in the book.
The word 'name' and "title" were interchangeable to the Greek-speaking people in that day.

Here is an example of what I just said.

On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:16
Note!

It says, "he has this name written? Right?
But, that is a title, not an actual name.

We will not have our actual names blotted out who fail to mature in Christ.
Instead?
It will be our 'title' blotted out that we would have been knighted with by the Lord,
if we had persevered in growing in grace and knowledge to full maturity in Christ.

In Christ.... grace and peace.

Ok so are you saying like a rank structure? Like you go to heaven but you are the guy who mows the grass vs a general in the army? For example title blotted out vs title not blotted out.

@Jordon : Yes, take care, and see you soon, mate.
just contemplating here aus

Yesterday you did a kind will gesture that cost nothing and had a positive impact.

Whilst being annoyed for one reason an another you stepped in-between a dispute which I thought I may have good intension for doing one second but changed my mind the next.

But then I decided to make sure my point still got heard.

Again you did another kind will act that cost nothing that had another positive impact which was you decided to convince me there was no problem, which if you hadn't i may well have hit the roof at that point.

Then you did another kind will act that cost nothing, which was you decided to let old acquaintances be forgot.

Well buddy i do appreciate it.

free will acts bible.

Today is the first day of making your face shine like the noon days sun.

What say aus up are you for that, do you think kind will acts have a positive impact

@cv5, depending on who you talk to, certain Calvinists will admit that not believing Calvinism is a salvation issue, as it doesn't determine one's salvation. How would you respond to that?

(But if having different views on this isn’t a salvation issue according to some, then why does it matter if people disagree?)
I would respond by asking you to quote everything Jesus said about:

-murder dwelling in the heart
-hate dwelling in the heart
-the parables about self-righteousness
-the Jesus' many strident warnings to the "bad pharisees"
-Jesus many strident exhortations to seek the truth about Himself
-exemplars proving His true nature and heart toward fallen men

And the consequences of ignorance/denial/error thereof.

If true, then one could conclude that Calvin was behaving much like Saul before his conversion.......right?

Calvin taught to be obedient to the father and to have compassion for people.

What your probably reading is dogma from @Blue155 long distant best mate, his name was probably Scrooge

The fact that millions of people have lived and died without ever hearing the gospel isn't in dispute. Neither does it have anything to do with Calvinism. It's simply truth. You have a bad case of CDS.

A bad case of CDS = combating the false ordo salutis of Calvinism and protecting the Good News of Christ Jesus who died for all!!

False assumptions everyone of them. And your go-to "natural man" fallacy has been debunked an hundred times on this thread.

Garbage in garbage out.......:sneaky:

Yes notice the ... bad logic, biblical errors, verse-bombing, quote-bombing, auto-repeat, talking in circles, etc.
The only way I can understand it, is by reminding myself of its cultic appeal and elements.
It is a most "unserious" handling of scripture it almost becomes comical, if it were not for the fact of the very bad consequences that sadly some fall for it.
