Russia wouldn't have invaded if NATO had kept its promise of not expanding into former soviet bloc countries. Ukraine was a step too far because it would allow NATO nukes to be placed much closer to Moscow, something that Russia could not allow. So they put a stop to it. What would be the US response if China threatened such a thing in Cuba, Mexico or Canada?

Fact: They weren't Ukraine's nukes; they were Russian nukes deployed in Ukraine, which was just an administrative region of the soviet union.

Did the war hawks of the see eye a install the actor to abuse russian speaking ukrainians till putin felt justified in attacking? Is putin enough of a dictator to seek any excuse to cause war?

Basically yes, but getting Putin to attack was not their goal. That was a pre-emptive move on Putin's part to preserve Russia from having NATO entrenched at their underbelly. What would the US do if China overthrew the Cuban gov't in a coup, then spent 7-8 years training and arming the Cuban military? Yet that is what happened in Ukraine and you find fault with Russia for protecting itself.

Are you for the tariffs or against them? You do understand that this term TACO is spoken by people who railed against the tariffs saying they would destroy our economy and then when Trump negotiated fair trade with a variety of countries eliminating those tariffs they then said he was chickening out. It is one of the most blatently hypocritical criticisms anyone could make. They mocked his book "The Art of the Deal" and then when he is making deals all over the planet they want to call him a chicken? How pathetic, they are losers.
