Awww, so cute, thanks for bumping this thread! Makes me think of all the times I've heard "You won't find a Godly spouse while sitting in front of your computer" 😉

Maybe it will happen for me. And if it doesn’t, then I will accept it as the best.

Best reply in the thread.
Most amusing anywho. The member who quoted that was, in my opinion, basically ignorant and naive in matters pertaining to the heart in regard to pursuing, forming, and maintaining an enduring, thriving, romantic and physical relationship leading to marriage.

Yes I was picking up on quite considerable accrimony in your replies in that first page.

Somewhat unlike you. I figured either you were different that many years ago, or more likely, that was carry-over from some other thread where y'all tangled over something.

In the beginning of my membership I was deeply depressed, having lost my second wife, resigned my position in Maine, car broken down and towed away, loss of all possessions, and also my two dogs.

I was not in a good frame of mind and not in the mood to be trifled with. I was quite blunt and harsh in some of my replies and for that I was sorry.

I like to think that I have grown a little in a spiritual sense in how I approach and treat fellow members.

For the record, I believe you to be a most decent, hardworking man with many positive spiritual traits. You have a most sensible approach to everyday life. I appreciate your humor too.

I highly respect who you are and what you are about.

You are a tremendous asset to this site.

I hope to think that I am different now then who I was 11 years ago. If true, this is only by the grace of God.

Hopefully, we have both grown through the years.

For real! Sometimes I am grateful the Apostolic Man Forum is no longer around. (May it rust in peace.) There was so much I did not comprehend back then. But I sure did a lot of talking on that forum, because I didn't know enough to know that I didn't know... Ya know?

It kind of makes me wonder though. In another 20 years, when I look back on myself now, what will I think of my 2025 self?
