The OP has not been on here since last June, but yes, it is possible for the Christian to apostatize. The Bible nowhere teaches the impossibility of apostasy. It actually encourages the saved to remain faithful and not to apostatize. If it was impossible, then why the encouragement and warnings? I have studied that belief many times. I believe in the eternal security of the Christian, but not the impossibility of apostasy.

Which leads to, how do we get rid of them?

Until we receive our resurrection bodies?
This is how we now are to be stabilized by grace.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify
us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:7-9

We just confess (acknowledge) our sins privately to God.
He then purifies us when we do.

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin,
we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 1 John 2:1

Grace and peace!

I agree with 1 John as I do with all of HIS word.

First we have to get rid of our sins,

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

AFTER we have been reborn, need JESUS to fill us with the Holy Ghost also like HE did HIS disciples in Acts 2:4.

THEN 1 John comes into play, after we have been reborn all we need to do is to REPENT and confess them to JESUS and HE will forgive us.

I probably gained more enemies here....

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I don't think you have to worry about any enemies if you don't say anything.

Like me, people don't like me for sharing HIS word, people don't like being told the only way to get rid of there sins is to get baptized in JESUS name.

I'm not liked by many, but I'm not here to please people but to share HIS word, JESUS wasn't liked much either.

SO AFTER REBORN AND THEN YOU REPENT? HOW MANY PPL WERE SAVED FROM THIS DOCTRINE?

His words are clear,

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

JESUS said we have to be born of water AND of spirit to ENTER.

This is the problem, HIS word has been watered down by so many people what HIS word really says never gets said.

Today, just say this prayer and your saved.
Baptism in for show.
We are saved by grace or faith alone.
Paul preached a different message.

SATAN'S PLAN KEEP THEM OUT OF THE WATER, IF THEY GET IN THE WATER KEEP JESUS NAME OUT OF IT.

It's working.

Are we to follow man with so many different denominations today or JESUS and HIS word only?

Why so many different denominations but ONLY ONE GOD and ONE RULE BOOK?

Men, with their twisted minds.

Don't follow me either, I didn't die for you follow JESUS and HIS word only.

I'm not sure if I understand your question.

To be reborn we have to repent, get baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins and we need JESUS to fill us with the Holy Ghost.

After we have been reborn and sin we do not need to be baptized again all we need to do is repent and confess them to JESUS.

1 John 1,
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Did your church taught you this doctrine?

BTW, what's your denomination?

I don't like telling you because there are not many people on this sight like it.

They see denomination not HIS word and I only share HIS word it's NEVER about any church.

Sad to say but I think it's the only denomination that knows how to be reborn.

We will be held responsible for every word out of our mouth, and when I was looking for churches I was listening to the preachers and if what they said didn't line up with HIS word I WAS GOON.

I found one, the one I go to follows HIS word ONLY.

BUT is still run by man and different men have different opinion's of things but the foundation remains.

I go to a UPC church which gets it's name from the day of Pentecost the FOUNDATION and JESUS is our rock.

We are attempting to be Apposel like, we what JESUS to see us like HE sees HIS disciples.

Problem I have, is I have NO TACT at all and can be harsh but call it like it is.

I also have NO problem telling someone I am sorry.

Well now the ball is in your court are you going to be judging me by the church I go to, or HIS word that I share?

What's born again?

Since we are born in sin and Hell bound, we have a choice to make get born again which is a spiritual rebirth and follow JESUS to Heaven. John 3:3-6.

To be reborn again we have to get rid of our sins, being baptized in JESUS name. Acrs 2:38, 22:16

That is when we go into HIM. Romans 6

JESUS also has to fill us with HIS spirit. Acts 2:4

That is when HE comes into us, when HE came into me it changed my life.

HE'S ALIVE..

Good point. Apostacy does come at a price to the believer:

1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Those out there who practice eisegetical hermeneutics inject "salvation" into that context and many others where it's not stated nor implied as the object in question, but at least they're somewhat aware of some verses in the Bible rather than not knowing anything at all, though it be in error.

Notice that John was talking to Israel given that he was not the apostle to the Gentiles. The advocacy we of Israel had at that time, and will have once again in the future in the tribulation, that is indeed truth for those of those times when that truth was relevant. We today, because of grace, don't need advocacy, otherwise it is not of grace, but advocacy.

In other words, if a court of law were demanding I be charged for an alleged crime, then I would need an advocate, but because we're under grace, that's like granted immunity in a court of law, and thus I would be outside the jurisdiction of that court and any charges. The accuser of the saints only accuses those who must endure unto the end (Matt. 24) so that they SHALL be saved (future tense), not already saved to the uttermost. That would be a waste of the enemy's time and effort.

MM

BTW, what's your denomination?

You previously said that you attend the FAC Pentecostal church. My research on the "First Apostolic Pentecostal church" concludes that they teach a "Oneness" doctrine, emphasizing a single God manifested as Jesus Christ, (non-Trinitarian) and requires water baptism in Jesus' name (only valid formula) and baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues as necessary for salvation.

Do you confirm or deny?

Why would I denier it, IT'S ALL BIBLE.

Matter of fact I'm proud to be a JESUS follower.

I DIDNT KNOW WE CAN GET RID OF OUR SIN

No. We still battle with our sin, but the only everlasting effects it has in our lives is for loss of rewards at the price of building with hay, wood and stubble. The works-based salvationists always have a problem with this because it shatters their narratives of falsehood.

Romans 7:14-25
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

This, then, casts all measure of doubt upon those who think that they have any virtue of their own by which they can earn and/or preserve their salvation against loss. Such foolishness and fleshly pride to think that we of ourselves can do mere works or expenditures of self-effort to supplement the sufficiency in the shed Blood of Christ for the world He loves.

I only share HIS word, since you can't deny it you take a different road.

Head to demonmaninons.

How about just sticking to HIS word??

I guess you didn't notice, he said he didn't know WE can get rid of our sins.

Did you share with him HOW WE GET RID OF OUR SINS?
