The Protestant Reformation is over !! as evidenced by King Charles, the Supreme Governor of the Church of England, meeting with Pope Leo.
The first head of the Church of England to publicly pray with the Pope, in more than 500 years, since the SPLIT, at the Reformation.
This a BIG DEAL, for Adventist, Bible Prophecy believing, Protestant Christians. The fulfillment of Rev 13:3;

Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

I've started this thread, for us to talk about the implications of this event, in relation to the "The Signs of the Times" and this prophecy heralding the SOON return of our LORD Jesus. Let us put this prophetic event in historical context, that leads us up to TODAY ... and the implications of how it is effecting what's happening here in the USofA and in the world in general.

Let us discern, what and who, are the Dragon, The Beast and the False Prophet of Rev 13 ... as this understanding may well impact our eternal salvation.

The church of England is not exactly an example of the Protestant church. It has split now, with the new group retaining traditional theology and values.

The C of E has been in decline for decades. I was forced to attend in England for three miserable years. It was dead then and did its best to kill me. Fortunately, God is bigger than any organisation.

Personally, I believe that the Catholic organisation (it's not a church), Judaism and Islam will merge to become a world religion. In his Easter address, King Charles spent more time praising Islam and Hinduism than defending the Christian faith. There is already a building that houses a mosque, synagogue and a Roman Catholic sanctuary. C of E and RC priests have preached together with Imams. This abomination is nothing compared with what is to come.

"... with respect to the Lord's return." Is what we all are concerned about, here in these final days of Earth's History.

The Lord is coming back soon, and He's NOT returning as a humble servant or merciful Savior, but as our Righteous Judge. Having judged the living and the dead, and His judgment is final. Those who have rejected Him will face the consequences of their choices, and His return will be the time of wrath for those who have not accepted salvation.

• Revelation 19:11-16 (KJV): "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God... And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

The point of my pointing out this coming together of the Papacy and the Church of England is not only that the "Protest is over", but that this is the coming together of the Roman Church & English State, after 500+ years of separation, returning to the Papal supremacy, symptomatic of the 1260 years (Dan 7:25, Rev 12:14, Rev 13:5, etc ) ... of the Dark Ages, and the Papal control & persecution of those who believe Jesus, the True Church of Christ, His Body and Bride.

The "Dark Ages" were the whole reason for the Protest & Reformation, from the terror of Papal control & tyranny. The main reason the Americas were colonized, was to get away from the control of the Papacy, and the Kings whom they controlled.

As in Europe, here in the USofA as well, with Trump's efforts to "MACA" Make America Catholic Again (tongue in cheek) ... Trump's pushing for the dissolving of our constitutional "Separation of Church and State" With Trump and the Evangelicals pushing for "Christian Nationalism"... The fuse having been lit by the murder of Charlie Kirk.

We are seeing EndTimes Bible prophecy coming to fruition, before our eyes. The "Image of the Beast" (Rev 13:14, 15) is forming NOW and the Apostate Protestant Churches are not even aware of the times we live in, or how very close is the return of our LORD and KING, Jesus.

The "Church" or "ecclesia" is the body of believers, not the RCC or any man made organization, and it is being called out from all kindreds right now, even the Made in America pope has brought a stop to the idol worship of the RCC.

I agree with you .. " apostasy of the churches" from knowledge and experience of the The Truth & Faith OF Jesus and His Righteousness... Which has been mostly achieved by the efforts of the Antichrist spirit in the world, primarily by the efforts of their Jesuits, mostly, secretively behind world affairs, particularly the education system of the World, Dumbing down & deceiving the "herd" so that "The Mother Church shall not suffer the lose of her daughters", by their "counter reformation" tactics, these last 500+ years.

Excuse my tendency to "rant" as I get passionate about the Truth and peoples nonchalant attitudes, towards the importance of it... a matter of eternal life or death.. and people are SO HARD to wake up... Ol' sayin ! "You can't wake someone up, who is pretending to be asleep." Probably my favorite HollyWood movie, "The Matrix" is a perfect allegory, of the situation of the world... people happily living their lives, unaware of the underlying reality, that they are spiritually living a "lie" fostered by the deceptions of Satan. And when you tell them the Truth, they would rather continue in their slumber, remaining asleep, than face the reality of their spiritual condition, in relation to Christ and His Righteousness, leading to their perdition, as ... Ignorance is bless.
