Hi all,

I would like to discuss among each and ask in clarity what the good things truly are when we are Christians as opposed to being non-Christian:

The first thing that comes to mind is salvation. If we are truly Christian, we will receive salvation and eternal life with God in Heaven.

Second, God will bless us but careful to note that I think He will bless us for whatever we are to do for Him right? For example, in the worst case scenario for the Christians who have to travel to countries where you can or will die for proclaiming about Christianity, their blessing will be that God will supply everything they need during that time and eternal life in Heaven.

For those who do not have to proclaim Christianity in dangerous countries, their blessing will be that God will supply all our needs and there will be good outcome for what we've done and in our lives...

Anything else to add or do I have everything right?

Thank you for the discussion and clarification!

Philippians4-6and7and19s.png

Philippians 4 verses 6, 7, & 19 ~ be anxious for nothing... And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
:)

Another good thing we will get as Christians is it seems God gives us things we want too, not only needs which makes the scripture, "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart", true.

Eternal life, physical blessings by way of good health, and needs met.

But trouble can happen if God needs to keep you humble like Paul was given a thorn in the flesh so he would not be exalted above measure for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

The Son learned obedience by the things he suffered and we are human, and Paul would suffer many things for the kingdom's sake.

Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Joh 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

But although we may have trouble in the flesh, mentally and emotionally we will not be afflicted for God will keep our mind right.

While the world struggles with the mind, has problems, uncomfortable, trying to fill the void whatever they do, and unhappy, the saints will have a sound mind and trouble free.

Calmness, peace, and serenity, which is a great blessing.

Peace that passes all understanding so you do not get that in the world.

Joy that no person can take away which no matter how the world treats us or problems we have that joy will be there which keeps us positive in loving people and living for God.

Which the joy of the LORD is our strength.

Happiness is controlled by us so we can lose it temporarily but joy is controlled by God so it is always there.

I think that way to many people, that profess themselves to be Christians, often emphasize what they personally get out of the relationship. Such as blessings while on this earth or the promise of a greater life in eternity but overlook those things which I believe are the foundational glory of grace.

- Coming to know whom God is.
- Coming to know that God is Truth and having the God given ability to hear and understand that Truth.
- Coming to know that God loved us first and that is why we love God.
- Coming to know how wretched, wicked and lost we are.
- Coming to know Jesus Christ. His Person and Work.
- Coming to love Jesus Christ as our only hope. Our all in all.
- Understanding the privilege God has given us to worship Him and be thankful before Him everyday.

I yearn for the day when I shall see Him face to face.

though I disagree with ''trouble-free'', what was on your mind when you wrote that?

My thoughts and understanding, we will endure hardship of many kinds but our reward will be in Heaven. There will be suffering as it's a fallen world here right now but all that will be done with in Heaven. Protection, God will protect us generally, when we lie down, go in and out, but we will not be protected if we have to lay down our life for our brother or sister or die for His name's sake. This is the kind of discussion I'd like to have, clarity, in all aspects.
