Hi all!

I feel that I can do with more wisdom and good discernment of things like in things I should and should not say or should and should not do or act on, and I believe 100% that God can give me wisdom and good discernment but I ask to pray that He will help me in a kind and wonderful way. Thanks for your prayers!

The prayer for wisdom is one God promises to always answer:
5Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But he must ask in faith, without doubting
(James 1:5)
Many past teachers after discovering a truth did not wait for the Spirit to show them how that truth fit with the entire balance of God truths. As a result they often fell into a distorted views that were often the very opposite of the teachings of Jesus Himself who was the truth of God,
 
But I wonder if it matters what wisdom one is seeking? What if I was seeking wisdom about making money with business? It makes me question because of Saul's prayer to God. What do you think, would he give just any kind of wisdom one is looking for? Be careful the devil is not the one answering your prayer.

This is one thing that we are told to ask for! Except God puts a condition on this! We must believe and not doubt! That is our responsibility! We need to walk in a way that honor God with belief and trust with confidence. We are also held accountable for what we ask for! God shows us our life the way He sees us! If all we do is doubt then we are not committed to Him. We are blown about by any idea we choose. We must hear Gods still and quiet voice to do His will.
James 1:5-8 (NIV 1984)
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
