In light of the growing heresies promoted by some self-professed conservatives, I have heard many egregious teachings spread by individuals who claim to be Christian. While I know that ultimately Scripture defines what a true Christian is and how they "walk and talk," I am curious if there are any definitive writings on it that can help fight the anti-Semitic, racist, and frankly disgusting views held by these individuals. I consider myself a conservative, but more than that, I see myself as a conservative Christian. This is different from simply being a Christian conservative. I hope to hear good things from you all. Thanks for your time.

There are people who claim to be Christian and are not. Then there are some who claim to be Christian and may be but walk in the flesh. This can cause a lot of confusion. Some Christians have been drawn into worldly entanglement in the attempt to make the world have Christian values.

With all this going on and all the confusion this can cause, one can really only control his own walk (by the Spirit), offer godly counsel, and be available too help those we know who might be tempted to entangle themselves in the course of the world.

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Your post prompts these comments from me:

What heresies or egregious teachings do you accuse some people of?
The definitive writing defining what it means to be a Christian is the NT.
What do you define as anti-Semitic, racist and/or disgusting?
Do you view Jews as anti-Christian?
Thanks.

Nick Fuentes is the “poster child” of what I’m referring to.

And I did address that Scripture already defines it. I’m just curious if anyone has written a book that helps believers and nonbelievers alike to further understand practically what all that entails.

I define anti-semitism and racism as a man made hatred towards fellow man, fellow image bearers. There is only one race, the human race. We should hate false religions and unrighteousness. Not others. And not based on things that man has deemed undesirable. We should practice what we believe: there are sinners and then there are sinners saved by grace. The ground is level at the foot of the cross and the true believer understands that and remains humble. We should exercise every effort to bring others to him.
I hope this answers your questions

I agree. That’s actually why I’m asking this question because if there isn’t a helpful tool for people to access, I’m thinking about writing one myself. There’s a lot of trash out there and Scripture is clear on what it means to be Christian. Maybe a tool could be of use in drawing people further away from the garbage. I don’t know. Maybe someone else is more qualified to do this but I may give it a shot.

You might want to set up a web site and put your writing on it.There are still people that are searching for insights that they may not be getting in their churches. https://christianpioneer.com/ is sort of amateurish but gets about 100 hits a day. Their slant is for Christians who have had bad church experiences and for those not very familiar with Christianity. A site like https://doctrine.org/ is more geard to give advanced understanding to Christian searchers.

I would encourage you to act on your impulse even if it is only helpful to a few, you may find that your own knowledge increases as you undertake the project.

I like that suggestion, which is what I did to set up <truthseekersfellowship.com> which I invite everyone to use as a resource
and to submit input or amendments.
