Hypothetically, this is correct. But...in practice, it will never happen. Why?
...we possess a new nature that eshews evil and desires righteousness.
...we have the indwelling Spirit to convict us of sin.
...whom the Lord loves, He chastens, even to death.

So while it is possible, no truly indwelt Christian thinks this way, or in duration, acts this way.

... some people decide they love the world more than God
... some people stop listening to the spirit
... whoever denies the lord will be denied by him

... some people decide they love the world more than God
... some people stop listening to the spirit
... whoever denies the lord will be denied by him
They went out from us because they were not of us. Simply put, they weren't Christians to begin with. Otherwise, God would restore them.

Are you of the OSAS camp? If so, this concept is not Scriptural.

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise
them up at the last day.
John 6:37-39

Look!
According to Jesus' words?

" And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me,
but raise them up at the last day."

The will of the Father is that Jesus lose none.
Correct?

So? If we can lose our salvation?
It would be Jesus himself failing to do the will of the Father!

““For many are called, but few are chosen.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified,
and those whom he justified he also glorified." Romans 8:30

See that?
What about the called?
That passage says that they are saved ones!

So...
One might say...
Many are saved.
But?
Only a few are chosen!

Chosen for what?

For only a few will qualify to reign with Christ!
God chooses who is to sit on His throne to reign with Him!

To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne,
just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne." Revelation 3:21

Yes.... God wants His Word to be understood.

I can see you’re holding on to a declared creed. Too bad! Plz open your eyes to read Truth!

LOL Like you're not.

Shame you can't read salvation is a gift.

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

Romans 4:4
Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due.

You didn't work to get your salvation, you cannot work to keep it. The work we do is applying what we have been given so that our salvation is made manifest, not only for our sakes, but also for the blessing of others and more importantly, all this for the glory of God.

Philippians 2:12
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,

Please note how it is worked out, through obedience to the word. Those who are ignorant of the word (beyond the Gospel) fail to work out what they have been given and therefore end up looking no different to an unbeliever. The Hebrew readers were in danger of this.

Hebrews 6:1
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

Obedience to the Gospel saves us (ie. believe in Christ) but obedience to the rest is what rewards us, both in this life and the life to come.

John 4:23
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

Our obedience is met as we are led of the Spirit resting in faith for faith is the word of truth alive and at work in our soul. That is what produces good works and is the only way to produce good works for anything outside of that is not of God's word and His word is The Way.

Just a quick question but how it you don't recognise that people who have fully learned the doctrine of tulip don't think like This either ?

They went out from the Christians because they taught and followed gnostic ideas, like you do.
You are a gnostic according to how some would define it. So totally strange that you would accuse Cam
of being one simply because he affirms Scripture, but then you speak out of both sides of your mouth,
and continue to deliberately misrepresent the record of history because you have a derangement syndrome.

I never said it wasn’t!!! 😀
However, Scripture teaches it can be lost.

Don't think like what exactly?
I'll ask one last time. Then I'm done if I done get an answer.

The two posts you made which I assume you believe, posting all the scriptures about Gods will, and how his sheep can't be lost, and how God chooses people

How is it you don't dont recognise that's exactly how people who have learned tulip believe ? Well at least the good people of God anyhow.

Now if your going to tell me you don't understand the question or as.always you dont want to answer,.I'm done

Oh I’m serious, I’m dusting my feet off….
The OSAS camp does not understand Scripture and is operating under a different gospel.

YES! It's about time someone in the works-based salvation camp realized that Paul's Gospel of Grace is indeed a different gospel message than the works-based salvation preaching of Peter that eventually went by the way-side as the middle wall of partition came down. Remember, Peter commanded water baptism unto the remission of sins...something Paul NEVER preached.

Thank you, TD. That was a brilliant observation on your part...except for our allegedly not understanding scripture. It's YOUR camp that keeps turning a blind eye to the differences between the Kingdom Gospel and the Gospel of Grace. We fully understand scripture because we are honest enough to admit the differences.

So, that shows who REALLY is not understanding scriptures. You folks trying to be right at the expense of your own integrity...that's just a poor trade-off on any rational basis.
