Not exactly. I believe the impetus for choice rests solely with God and His activity. The choice is freely made by the individual but would not have been made apart from the intervention of God.
Also, it doesn't answer the question of injustice.

Ok so how about Jesus died for all of man kind only the elect reap the benefits of that sacrifice leaving the non elect without excuse. Is that getting closer to the same thing?

Also what do you mean by the question of injustice? That must have been an edit I didnt see it there the first time sorry.

Closer, but still doesn't address the issue of injustice.

How about if I answer because your all about having Cameron seen as misleading

why do you think this place is called a public forum

Run around awsering other people's questions in the real public see how far it gets you haha. There's a psychology term for it. The need to insert yourself and your opinion on everyone else.

More 💯

This has been my "spidey sense" but I was not able to articulate the way you have. Bravo!
I dealt with this a lot!!! when I worked with a person who was diagnosed a narcissist.. all the gaslighting was beyond belief.

"walking" into a cult meeting" EXACTLY
A tactic as old as creation.
"And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said"......?

If Jesus pays for the sins of all mankind and the Father accepts that payment, how is He just by reneging on the agreement and later punishing people whose sins were paid for and the payment was accepted?

why do you think people should be aloud to post in a public forum and not be answered by other people, especially since r there's private chat for that

What if he gives you an answer he hasn't noticed ?

And what if he gives you an inaccurate answer because he only ever gets asked questions.

Why do you think friends should watch someone be constantly questioned

You have now entered the pointless dribble section of this public forum. Its the first question I've asked Cameron143 since before you even showed up here. But yet you think im all about throwing some kind of shade on him. He's the only one from the "other side " I enjoy talking to from time to time on here.

The unregenerated person cannot obey and flesh cannot please God but that is the free will position... that the flesh can obey and submit to God, thereby pleasing Him ... Repenting and believing, and then they are rewarded for that "moral" decision that they made with their free will by being regenerated for being smart enough to figure it all out, some say with no divine intervention required from God at all. So much for God confounding the wise. These free willers have out smarted God Himself. Then they blaspheme God and say they are defending His character while hating on His sovereignty, and the fact that He does things according to His plans purposes and good pleasure, calling it for "no good reason" and like some type of lottery. Yes, cult meeting sounds right, basing their beliefs on faith without root, saying man can do what Scripture explicitly says he cannot, and pretending their opinions trump what the Bible says when they don't like what the Bible says.

be careful a bad attitude is starting to service.

Do you not like being asked to many questions

Your right I can see that point of view. However you do have to ask for forgiveness of those sins. Mine were not jist automatically forgiven I had to ask. And that injustice question can be used on the other side of the isle as well.

For instance if only the elect were pre destined to got to heaven then the non elect were pre destined to no go there. So when you die and you are standing in front of the man and he asks what is your excuse. And you awnser well all mighty God you pre destined me not to believe is that not an excuse?

I believe when God sets His affections upon an individual and changes their hearts and opens their understanding and convicts them of their sins, such a one will inevitably receive the grace of God willingly.

Wrong ..God may set His focus on someone but it is for service, not for individual salvation.
See 1 Timothy 2:4

I believe we see this in Acts 2:37 where God opens the understanding and changes the heart which leads to a change in the will.

Wrong, this verse needs to be interpreted through the lens of Biblical first principles. "It does NOT state cut to the heart by God"

Faith itself is a product of hearing and hearing a product of the word of God.

I wonder what you mean by product? ... "as in birthed by God for salvation" NOPE not in scripture.

Gotta watch for that double speak!

I do believe that Jesus died solely for the elect. If he died for the sins of all of mankind and God accepted that payment for all of mankind, then God would be unjust to later punish individuals for sins that He already accepted payment for.

In direct contradiction of scripture.
See 1 John 2:2,

Christ Jesus died for all.

Everything else in this statement is irrelevant because it is only a very wrong philosophical rational in an attempt to support an idea completely outside of scripture ..... and outside traditional, orthodox and evangelical Christianity.

the none elect and elect are judged on there whole life before there born m

It's cited in scripture

Which means m both sides still get a chance to be saved before there life is over

As well, salvation is not restricted to God's favorites pre-selected before time. (n)

here you go @Jackson129 shoukd I believe nobody wants to constantly question Cameron for the wrong reasons

Then we see people like heis lying about what Scripture explicitly articulates, again and again they misrepresent, it is a
favorite thing of these free willers who deny man's inability: Scripture says the man of flesh cannot, they say he can.

John14-17a-Romans8-6-9.png

John 14 v 17a, Romans 8 v 6-9 ~ “Inability” in Bible. The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Praise be to God for calling me out of the world.
