You didn't answer my question. I'm sure it was just an oversight. When God places an individual under conviction, does He first get consent?

No one ever answers your questions.
Why is that so frequent with you?!

You want to maneuver people into a place for your advantage.

Of course it is.
Don't forget, dear Cameron, that for some of these free willers, God is not required at all in the process of coming to believe, so out of them you will not get the admissions nor affirmations of Scripture that make plain this truth. Out of one side of their mouth they will say, man is regenerated by the washing of the Word, then when Scripture is given showing repentance as a result of God's Word being preached to them, they deny that God had anything to do with it. At the same time as all this nonsense is going on, they claim logic is important. But we already know the height of their logic is to say they are convinced by God of something and then get to decide if they believe it or not. Their so-called logic promotes logical fallacies constantly, as if such fallacies bolster their philosophical position when they have no clear Scriptural statements saying man's will is free, when we do have clear statements saying man's will is not free. No, in order to bolster their position they contradict and outright deny what is explicitly stated in Scripture when they are not busy rewriting what the Bible says, even when it was Jesus Who said it. Who then can be saved? Jesus answered, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

John 18 v 37b John 8 v 47 Matthew 13 v 11b For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice. Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Plus 2 Timothy 1 v 9, He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Or...the answer undermines their beliefs.

Why haven't you told your buddies that God moves sovereignly in the affairs of man?

What in the world was I thinking?

It is God who establishes you in Christ. God made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. We have not received the spirit of the world. God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. If the Spirit of God lives in you, you are not controlled by the flesh, but by the Spirit. By this we know that we remain in Him, and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit.

Yes. He is sovereign.

He is sovereignly allowing you to remain on earth in spite of your distortions.

And, your beliefs have been undermined many times in this forum.

Does you no good.
You should learn from that.

That's because I believe God is sovereign and that all things are possible with God.
Well you know, that God's sovereignty is one of the things many FWers despise.

That and election have them spitting bullets they hope to maim us with.

They prefer to believe that man/the flesh can do what Scripture says he cannot.

False doctrine has a target to hit.
It is the self-righteousness of those who find themselves attracted to it.

Let the fur fly!

Angels and demons are to watch their own ways of thinking enter into conflict by watching doctrinal conflicts amongst believers.

The character, or the lack, thereof, of people they watch are then duly noted.

The Lord is in control of everything!

More gobbledygook. While others have shared their perspectives, none have undermined my beliefs. And when their arguments are unconvincing biblically, they simply turn to derision and misrepresentation.

Not despising God's sovereignty. We, who walk in God's freedom, despise lies.

In the meanwhile...

Liars will love to torment those who love truth by lying about them. Even love to taunt.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Cor 3:17

God's divine bowling ball keeps rolling down the lanes, causing splits.

No doubt there have to be factions among you to show which of you have God’s approval." 1 Cor 11:19

Only those on the side of Truth God approves of.

The other side must keep approving of each other to compensate.

The mystery is among us.

Time to get you another diaper.

BTW...when the Spirit convicts an individual, does God act unilaterally or get permission from the individual?
We have been told these things are forced on the person.

These free willers have a strange way of presenting God's drawing due to His great undying love.

We are forced to accept these things, we are told... while they promote the free will of man.

So, when people end up in hell - is that God's fault or not?

There's a theological term for that...gobbledygook.
