“You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When when when are we going to get past salvation and move on to bigger things in the spirit? There is even a time to keep moving on past the baptism of the Holy spirit. Yes, these are all great experiences, but how many are having a true impact on their/your families friends co-workers? How many are experiencing breakthroughs through prayer and fasting and hearing God?

YES! A leftover from the rcc stranglehold on His ecclesia where they made people believe you had to go through them for salvation and then just rest there when that is only the beginning as we heal, cleanse, cast, preach, etc. as He commands His Own.
Never seen a time of such great teaching available.
David Diga Hernandez Ministries, Curry Blake at jglm.org, Brian Fenimore at Plumblinem.com, many others.
The Doncaster DHT is one that is very powerful to take in and act on, he gives his testimony at 30 minutes of #2.

The church will never move on into the deeper things until it loses its addiction to the clergy/laity mindset. The pastor-king model is simply unbiblical. Gathering together is meant for everyone to actively participate as they feel led and not always sit passively being spoon fed and entertained. Learning requires active participation and engagement. Imagine someone in the audience raising their hand while the pastor is delivering his prepared sermon and saying they disagree with what he just said or to explain something further. It would be a scandal and the pastor and audience would be offended that the show was interrupted. But that's exactly what church should be. Church is for everyone to participate and be edified spontaneously as the spirit leads, and not for one person and his team to put on shows that make no room for the holy spirit. But that essentially is what church is now in most cases

The "church" is the body of believers, not a man made creation, Sunday service is worship, our walk with our Savior is 2/7/365.

And asking Holy Spirit to come and minister.

Wikipedia said:
The Didache (/ˈdɪdəkeɪ, -ki/; Ancient Greek: Διδαχή, romanized: Didakhé, lit. 'Teaching'),[1] also known as The Lord's Teaching Through the Twelve Apostles to the Nations (Διδαχὴ Κυρίου διὰ τῶν δώδεκα ἀποστόλων τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, Didachḕ Kyríou dià tō̂n dṓdeka apostólōn toîs éthnesin), is a brief anonymous early Christian treatise (ancient church order) written in Koine Greek, dated by modern scholars to the first[2] or (less commonly) second century AD.[3]
The first line of this treatise is: "The teaching of the Lord to the Gentiles (or Nations) by the twelve apostles".[a] The text, parts of which constitute the oldest extant written catechism, has three main sections dealing with Christian ethics, rituals such as baptism and Eucharist, and Church organization. ( emphases- MINE :-) )

You DO realize, that the Classical Reformers, understood the Roman Catholic Church to be "Antichrist" as shown by Bible Prophecy and the Reformers personal experiences, ie ... their being persecuted and killed for telling the Truth in opposition to the RCC's false doctrines and BLASPHEMIES ?

Don't expect True Christians to support, or advocate for the Antichrist spirit in the world.

Do you have a link to that one? Not sure how an idea of pressing on for more of God has to have some kind of label? “Oh, seeking God? Well that’s not for me but that’s called ‘scarfishzm’ over in the Miscellaneous section…” 🙄

Please! Save your thread and don't entertain him!

Apparently you have not been following the discussion on other threads, so you are unaware that the thread
entitled "The Didache: Doctrines that Build on the Foundation" has nothing to do with the document you referred to,
so join us there if you want.

Must you make every new thread about yourself?

Apparently you do not understand that I meant for my invitation to the one member also to apply as always
to anyone else on CC who is interested in constructive conversation. Hope you do so now and will participate if you want.

Apparently you do not understand that your "invitation" comes to every new thread. So, you make them all about you.

How does learning some term and participating in some lengthy discussion over in whatever type of thread you’re concocting help someone who is struggling in their Christian walk, or battling depression or suicidal thoughts? Yes, it’s a “chat” room. But in today’s climate, is it more important to get people/posters on a “word” hunt, or encourage them to try and move further towards a breakthrough?

A breakthrough sounds better than a word hunt.
What I share in my threads has helped me in my Christian walk and should also help others struggling with various
similar questions and issues.
How does your post help with what you asked me?

I’ve probably been too stiff. Sometimes I just don’t see the point of engaging in vain discussions over topics that really aren’t gonna lead to anywhere, but just go back-and-forth never coming to any conclusion just for the fun of it. Granted, it is a Christian chat forum, so I guess that is the point. If Christians are looking for more fulfillment or getting actual help or breakthroughs or insight for a today word, then they’ll get that somewhere else. So with that in mind, carry on.
