The voter registration numbers are even more damning for the democrats, you're seeing a straight up flip in the overall society against your party, you're seeing the democrats lose 2 million registered voters and the GOP gaining 2 million. Nothing could be a clearer sign to show you the problem isn't with everyone else, the problem isn't with Trump, the problem is with your party straight up, you're not losing 2 million people and at the same time the GOP gaining 2 million people to their base for nothing.

"the democrat party has to acknowledge their own failings".... Whenever their failings or utter insanities are pointed out their immediate reply is always, "But what about Trump?" They never take accountability for their own failings because it's all about stopping Trump from achieving his objectives even if it means shutting down the govt and blaming Trump for the shutdown. They know their media will back them up and repeat any lie they make up to retain their dwindling amount of followers. Legacy media is the only thing sustaining the Democrats.

To a degree that's to be expected being opposition parties and all, but indeed they have gone beyond the pale. At the end of the day it's almost just basic political sense, you have to have an actual platform to talk about that excites the people or something to actually fight for other than just simply being the perpetual opposition party. Interestingly, the GOP somewhat went through a similar period after Bush where they were just basically the perpetual opposition with no grand vision, and they tried playing little games like the shutdown as well. That's why the shutdown tactic will not only backfire on the democrats but it'll hurt them more because it looks like they're trying to deceive the American People whom have already seen this exact same game before. The GOP learned from their years in the wilderness and Trump reformed the GOP and gave them a greater platform, MAGA, something to coalesce around that's positive rather than being the perpetual opposition party. Ironically that's what the democrats need to do now, but since Trump did it they'd rather cut their own nose off to spite their face.

When all you've got are childish AI generated videos you know you're in trouble. He's probably just trying to distract from the fact that Antifa apparently didn't get the memo they were supposed to be agitating this weekend.

Thankfully this weekend proved there are a lot of people who are sick of him. But I think we should get ready for the reality that he'll probably never leave the white house unless he's forced out. I think that's a real possibility.

Overall another brilliant move by Trump bringing us back to the true humor of the SNL in the 90s before the mental patients didn't want others to make body shaming jokes on them, but they wanted to do on others.

Overall a classy move by Trump who's been beating bureaucrats at their game since 1980s and beyond.
