One has to become numb to want that teaching.
Numb, and a snob towards others.

Just anecdotal, but my experience is it draws people who need to feel special (some research coming out with regards to Nar* types) and and if they were not snobs/arrogant they become that way as they are in churches which feed it.

Also, makes me wonder what is like to sit in a church with people who think they were "specially" created for salvation.

Seems like God has boundaries or something since they tend to be be mostly in the west.

It does not stand up under scrutiny and the full weight of scripture.
Sure doesn't .....

Rom 4:16
Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

Its because they seek the approval of those whom they congregate with.

It is called, "approbation lust."

Sounds like a bunch of people posting around approbation lusting.

You're going to lose, sir.

It will all end when He appears, and we will each appear before Him for the final evaluation.

When your turn comes up, I do not think He will allow for us to listen in.

TULIP is the dogma of bullies.

I used to think the Calvinists were just weird with weird ideas, I mean how could any Christian believe a dogma like divine reprobation

however, when I learned about "stealth Calvinism" and the scheming and strategizing to expand their false doctrine from the

seminaries into the evangelical churches I knew it did not come from a "good" place.

I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Is your end different from mine?

No. Lusting for the the approval of your cronies. Look at all the emojis.

I was describing what happens when a false doctrine is being defended.
Then it is lusting.....

Nothing wrong in cheering on the defense of truth.

You will dwell.... yes.
For we can not lose our salvation.

But, we will lose rewards for building our life upon false doctrine.

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder,
and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which
is Jesus Christ.
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood,
hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will
bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality
of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive
a reward.
If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—
even though only as one escaping through the flames.

Right. That's why I pray for you guys.

"look at all the emojis" is not a good gauge as there are approving emojis on both sides ... just sayin' ...

and, to be honest, none of us knows the intent of the heart of those who submit posts.

do we comment in order to discuss Scripture? ... or do we comment to get the approving emojis? if the reason we comment is to get approving emojis (which only God knows difference between the thoughts and intents of the heart), well that's something we do to be seen of men and we have the reward (emoji).

It wasn't me that accused others of approbation lust. It was poor discernment to begin with and poor judgment to post. That's where you should be directing your correction.
